He should retire. I was lucky enough to get another family doctor after dealing with him since I was little. My sister couldn't move her neck for 2 yrs. She consistently went to see him, and finally after consulting other doctors asked him to send her for an MRI. He refused, said he doesn't send his patience for MRI's. That was it. I managed to get my new doctor to talk to her. One look, sent her to a specialist. Turns out she had a tumor growing out of her spine, wrapping around it. She ended up having to go for surgery in T.O. and have a piece of her spine removed. When she asked him for a doctors note to give to her work, so that she wouldn't lose her job while off for the surgery and recovery, he told her to go to T.O. and get it from the surgeon. Terrible, she could've died and had already begun to be paralized due to the tumor. My doctor took her as a patient after hearing he wanted her to get the note from the surgeon in T.O. he was pretty appalled.

Horrible!! My dad was in the beginning stages of Parkinson's Disease and Dementia I spoke to the doctor about the changes the family noticed hoping that he might take the hint and run some tests to diagnose what was happening. He was extremely rude to me and was very uncaring. and, to top it off he did not run any tests so he wasn't diagnosed until much later. Very disappointing and his lack of care allowed the disease to progress more quickly than if he had medication earlier. I wouldn't take my cat to this man!!

Dr.O'Donnell has been right on with some diagnosis and puzzeled with others until the condition persisted and he eventually sent me to a specialist only to find the diagnosis he missed was serious. He is human and can't be right all the time, but usually does not hesitate to send me to a specialist. There was only one incident in which I insisted on a specialist and I am glad I did. It was a life or death condition. Over all I think he is okay and I repeat, only human.

Was not pleased with my visit to him-seemed very impatient and walked out of the room at the end of the visit without even a word to me. Not likely to return to him if I can locate another dr.

Mr O'Donnell is the worst Dr that My family and I have had. He doesn't know his stuff and he treats people like they just don't matter to him. I think that if he was the only dr on earth I would rather try and heal myself then go to him.

I am a retired physician-teacher and John is my doctor. That is recommendation enough, but I'll go on: He is very bright, congenial, dedicated, witty & humorous, knowledgeable, experienced and skillful. Enough said? I could go on, but John appreciates conciseness. End.

I have seen Dr. O'Donnell on a number of occasions at a walk in clinic. He is so pleasant and knowledgeable. I felt so comfortable with him and I trust his diagnosis 100%. He has a great personality and is not like any other physicians I've seen before. I wish/hope that more physicians would have his manners and intelligence :)
