I have been a patient of Dr Steve for over 20 years and I would not want anyone else. He has taken care of me as a teenager and now cares for my wife and young family. He is always a great source of information and will tell you as he sees it. He is very caring and compassionate about all our needs. We only go to see him when we need to which thankfully isn't often. We have signed ups for his block fee program which has be excellent. We don't need to go in to see him for every little thing and can get notes, reports and advice much easier. Had a virtual visit this past week with the COViD-19 pandemic and it went very smoothly from calling in and his staff getting me to interact with him the same day. His staff and students have always been wonderful. Nothing but great marks for Dr Steve and his staff. Keep it up!!

I have never had any issues with Dr Cusimano. He is always caring and compassionate which is nice to see these days. He reads the history that I shared with his nurse and will ask any further questions he may have. He always spends time with me despite others waiting which can understand why I may have to wait longer to see him. His secretary has always accommodated my needs whether arranging appointments or tests or referrals or getting me in to see the doctor. His student learners are always nice to interact with knowing that Dr C is overseeing what they do. Keep up the great work.

Dr. Cusimano’s receptionist is absolutely brutal! She deserves a negative rating! Her google ratings are deplorable as well just like her personality. I don’t know why she is being kept around! She is sooooo cold and unhelpful! I’m put on hold for 15 mins every time I call in. She has the rudest tone in her voice like she is just unimpressed and would rather be anywhere else! She has just informed me that the doc books same day appointments only and this has been the case for 10 years. I have never received a same day appointment! I hope the doc is close to retirement because she is driving his practise into the ground.

Not the best family doctor I had. He is cold at times and unwelcoming. Makes very little eye contact. Can be Very sharp when asking questions about your health, and wants an answer immediately. Doesn’t really seem to care that you’re there. He can’t wait hurry out the door & leave the room. Doesn’t get to the bottom of your problem. And really doesn’t have an answer either. Just leaves you hanging. Does blood and sends you on your way. There is many times I wait in his examination room for over 1 hour, AFTER sitting in the “waiting area” for 2-3 hrs. Doctor seems to have more patience with seniors then with people age 18-50ish. As if people ages 18-50ish can never get sick or should never get sick. I avoid having Pap test or Breast exam because I feel like I’m bothering him.
I Like the receptionist & nurse. Never had an issue. They are generally pleasant, & polite.

Dr. Cusimano takes the time to listen and understand his patients needs. He is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable. All doctors should be like him. His staff is very helpful and Maddie at the front is phenomenal!

Fantastic Family Doctor! Dr C has been caring for our family since taking over from Dr WR over 20 years ago. When he first took over and we had to see this new doctor we were skeptical that he measure up to our previous doctor. It didn't take long for us to gain respect for his great clinical skills when he gave the best advice to my father which ended up saving his life. He has managed me and my sister through our pregnancies and has taken care of our children over the last 10 yrs or so. It is nice to now the kids aren't afraid to visit the doctor as he has been so good with them since they were born. His knowledge and demeanour make it comforting knowing that he can deal with my health issues himself which saves me from being sent around unnecessarily to specialists or he feels I need to see a specialist. He certainly appears to know his limitations which I respect. I have never had a problem with his staff or student learners. I respect how a family doctors office can get busy and its not easy making everyone happy. Some of the comments I have read are likely from people that don't have any respect for what his office does and likely have other issues that they are feeling its ok to take out on the doctor or his staff. Keep it up Dr C and I hope you are still working another 20 years!! Thank you.

Have nothing but profound respect and praise for Dr. Steve. He has been our Family Dr. for over 20 years. My daughter recently had a medical emergency, severe pain, hand and leg cramping and inability to walk along with a very high fever. She was given all the tests and they were unable to diagnose the issue and over the course of 2 days and after 2 trips to the emergency room. She was sent home and told she probably had Influenza.
Thankfully her job required her to have a DRs note upon returning to work, while there she told Dr. Cusimano about the ordeal and her ongoing symptoms and he immediately sent her for xrays and said he was concerned she may have a blood clot. If it wasn't for his attention to detail and many years of experience I can't bring myself to think of what might have happened, she did indeed have a Pulmonary Embolism, a blood clot in her lung. She was immediately treated and is receiving ongoing care and medication therapy to correct this issue. Thank you Dr. Steve, for caring, for listening and for saving my daughters life.
