Does not care about her patients. Extremely difficult to get an appointment. Secretary is obnoxiously rude. On the hunt for a new family doctor.

Doctor is rarely open, making it very difficult to get any treatment you need. She has lost test results on multiple occasions, requiring me to have to redo them. She doesn’t give me the referrals I need despite other physicians and specialists requesting on my behalf. She told me to wait 6 weeks for a referral.... it is now ten months later. Been looking for a new physician for a long time.

Never in the office, she only works part time, very hard to get in for apt and they will cancel your apt day before like it’s ok and let’s rebook in next 4 to 5 months it’s not ok. If you need referral good luck since you will have to be on your deathbed to get one. It’s time to look for new family physician!

Dr McKay is knowledgeable kind caring and personable. She regularly refers you to a specialist should you need one. She is always punctual. Her receptionist is very nice and helpful. Dr. McKay calls me back whenever necessary and getting prescription refills has never been an issue. She only works part time but I have managed to get in even the same day should I need her when she is in. I’m lucky that she is our family GP.

Recently tried to have my prescription refilled after years of being on this medication, she denies the request, and takes me off of her roll, because I didnt see her for 5 years. The thing is, if you are not sick, why see the doctor. 20 years was with her, and she figured I didnt see her for 5, she would do this to me.

Been going for my whole life, can never get my prescriptions filled, not to mention shes never open. Her email was down for over a month, which is so unprofessional.

Been a patient all my life and she’s always on holidays, let alone the office only being open 3 days a week. Constantly have to argue for prescription refills in which she didn’t even prescribe to begin with because after refusing to provide further treatment for me my health for so bad I was hospitalized.

Dr McKay has looked after my family for 20 years and is absolutely the most thorough, kind, caring person we have ever met. She goes above and beyond and we are so fortunate to have such a knowledge and current Doctor . Thanks so much

Dr McKay is amazing. She helped me through a tough time in my life with anxiety and depression. She’s not the easiest to get into but she will always fax prescriptions and order tests when you need it.
