I agree with everyone. Dr. Melville should not be able to pratice medicine. I have alway suffered migraines and I was told that I am over weight and need to eat more veggies and I would be fine. Horrible bedside manner. I would always make my appointments for the first scheduled appointment of the day, and would always wait aleast 30, sometimes over an hour and the whole time I would watch Dr. Melville walk around. This doctor takes vactions months at a time, and is open maybe 2 full days a week. Everytime I would go in she would always have a new secretary. When I found out that I was pregnant Dr. Melville sent me too early for my ultrasound, forgot to do blood work. Finally, I lucked out and was able to go to the same Dr. as my husband. Beware....she is always accepting patients because she can't keep the ones she has.

I used to be a patient of this doctor for years, unfortunately, as I couldn't find another family doctor. I suggest never going to this woman. She gave me completely false information on multiple occasions. For example, when I was younger and asked her about STDs and prevention she told me condoms protect against EVERYTHING, which after researching I found out was false (herpes and hpv for example can still be passed with condoms). Luckily I was smart enough to research the answers myself, but I worry about younger children who would just trust what she says. NEVER GO TO THIS DOCTOR OR ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO SEE HER! could be very damaging to your health. ...I also second what everyone is saying about her horrible bedside manner and rudeness. She shouldn't even be allowed to practice medicine.

I do not see this Dr., but my wife and kids do. All I know is when my wife comes home, she comments that it is a waste of time, and the she makes she feel useless. My wife was going through a some depression and the Dr. blamed it all on my wife, and was absoluly useless. She does all the blood work in house, instead of doing what everyone else does, so I am curious as to what is up with that. My kids dread seeing her, and my daughter starts crying as soon as we get in the door. I would not recommend her to anyone. I'd go to the walk-in-clinics before seeing her.

This doctor kills me. First off I went in there because I was having problems sleeping and she's like so you want drugs. I almost wanted to tell her read the history, seeing as I refuse drugs all the time. 2nd thing was that I dislocated my arm and she said nothing was wrong. It has happened 6 times and I finally told her I need to see someone because this has become an issue. 3rd I got a physical and she stated that I was overweight, then 5 minutes later she called me fat, at the end of it she called me fat 3 times. THEN finally today I had to get blood work done because I had lower than normal white blood cell count (which she wasn't worried.), and she stabs me and nothing comes out. She waited 5 mintues, pulled the needle out and told me to go home. I just worked overnights and haven't eaten anything in 12 hours and you're telling me to go home... I got home and I had to change my own cotton ball because it was full of blood. Maybe if she took the time, people would care..

This is the WORST doctor ever. I went in for an apt. waited 45 mins after my apt. time started and then she gave me 5 mins. I was 22 at the time and I was having circulation problems... she never tested me for diabetes she just prescribed me blood thinners without even checking my blood. She would not sign me an mds lab form to get my blood tested from anyone but her. She is very rude and makes you feel stupid. Also, she is open maybe 2 days a week and I've only gone to her maybe 3 times in the 8 years she's been my doctor because every time I go to call she's on vacation for weeks at a time. AVOID HER.

DITTO to all above. She is never open. She does not actually listen to your issues. I first went in to see her when I was in my early 20's about Depo shot, she said so you want it? I said well does it fit me? she said her is the prescription go get it come back and I will give it to you. She did not give me a pregnancy test to make sure I was not pregnant nor did she really look over my history, just a glance is all she did. Well turned out I was pregnant and lost the baby. When i went in, I told her I think I am having or going to have a miscarriage, she simply said that a lot of woman do, come back when you are three months pregnant. Weird. I am really uneasy with her, and hope that no one takes her on as a new patient. What I mentioned was only the beginning of what I guess you call the relationship. Don't see her.

I suffered with this doctor for too many years before I decided enough was enough. I asked her for a referral to see an IV specialist and she told me NO since I already had two kids. I walked out crying. I thought, are doctors not supposed to help you? When I first started to see her, I was in a very bad relationship and told her about it. She cut me off and told me HER problems and how SHE wanted more time with her kids. I thought, wait a minute, I'M THE PATIENT! She never helped me once and made me feel very depressed every time I left her office. I agree that she is very rude and has NO bedside manners what so ever! I have thought of reporting her and am thankful for this site in that I can finally voice my opinion. She is not GOD!

In my over 40 years as being a patient I have NEVER met or experienced such rudeness and outright disregard for a patient in my entire life. The ONLY reason this person has patients is due to the Dr. shortage. She is horrific and never gave me the time of day or an ounce of caring during any of my visits in her office. I could not even begin to articulate who uncomfortable this person makes you feel, and her credentials are the absolute only thing she has going for her. Thank goodness a pharma rep that I spoke to one night over dinner was able to refer me to one of his Dr.'s and have me taken on as a new patient. WARNING . . . steer clear of this one!!!

The ABSOLUTE WORST doctor ever. She is always accepting new patients for a reason. Rude, arrogant, incredibily horrible bedside manner. This woman is atrocious and needs to quit.
