Every time I get Dr Bernard at the walk in he makes me feel stupid for going there. He once mailed a test result to me (in clinical terms that I didn't understand). When I went in to see what it meant he said "You really love coming here don't you". He insinuated that I was faking a pregnancy saying he "didn't see the positive line you're talking about, I don't understand why you're here" when I did a home test. Now I request any doctor but him.

I had a blood pressure of 170 and he did not comment on it!

Women beware of this doctor. He was extremely inappropriate with me. He started by complementing my body during exams and later I realized that it is not supposed to take 15 minutes to do a Pap smear. Furthermore he did not complete the tests properly and told me that they were coming back showing problematic cells so the tests needed to be re-done every 3 months. I’m embarrassed that I didn’t clue into this immediately. This man is a predator.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bernard for over 10 years. He used to really care, and show competence, this is not the case anymore. Rude, condescending, never on time and seriously lacking in knowledge. He has misdiagnosed me so many times I can’t remember, he has referred me to specialists for issues when I meet with referall Dr. they have told me they can’t help me, he has written prescriptions for over the counter medications - the pharmacist laughed when I showed them the prescription, he has no interest in support any mental help inquiries ... the list goes on. As I wait in his waiting room right now, he’s already +20 mins late for his shift I wonder to myself what would have caused someone to fully and completely ‘check out’ of this job the way he has. I wish him all the best and hope that he may one day remember why he got into medicine in the first place. For everyone else, abandon all hope of he is your GP. If you’re looking for a GP, keep looking.

I have been going to Dr Bernard for 0ver 15 years.
His knowledge coupled with his personality make him an excellent doctor.
He always listens to what I have to say and takes the time out to see what’s wrong with you.
His staff are fantastic, never really had any problems with wait times maybe half an hour at most.

I have been a patient of Dr Bernard for many many years and used to think he was a great doctor. A year ago I was diagnosed with a disease that he knew nothing of. Instead of encouraging me to share my knowledge on my disease, he has been condescending and abrupt. And yes, I have also heard the "I don't practice to the Gold Standard of Internet Medicine". I have to say, I am very disappointed. I am left with a doctor who hasn't been trained and won't take the time to learn about my disease. At this point, my degree in Internet Medicine far surpasses his knowledge. I'm not asking him to be an expert. I'm asking him to stop being so condescending.

He kept cutting me off when I was describing my symptoms, and when I complained about not being able to breathe properly, he told me to call 911. He was very sarcastic and did not come off as a professional. Also refused to answer my worries or inquiries and said he didn't like to speculate. As a patient not knowing what I'm surfering from, I obviously have many questions, and his attitude wasn't nice at all.
