I guess the only reason Jarosak gets great reviews is because their children never saw him during a trying time. I took my child to his practice 5 times in 7 days and called them over 30 times. My som was first seen in the ER at Moses cone with a very high temp and then at his office. The details are very long but on day 5 he saw my son whose stomach was distended and he was not eating or drinking. My 21 month old son was sent to the hospital so they could run some tests and I was told to stay there and Jarosak would talk to me once the results were back. My son was severely dehydrated and he just told me to go home and force fluids. His blood counts were terrible. I begged him to admit my son but he refused. That evening my son started acting strange as though he was delirious and every time he coughed he would scream in pain. I called the office and Jarosak called in Tylenol w/ codeine and an antibiotic. That night it got worse. I called again only to be told I could bring him in at around 10 the next am but if I felt more comfortable I could go to the ER with him. When I arrived at the ER they incubated him immediately and rushed us to Brenners because he was in septic shock. My 21 yr old son reached for me and they had to tie his hands down so he would not pull anything out. That was the worst. After 33 days at Brenners and trying everything from E.C.M.O. to stuff that came from a cows lung, my son passed away in my arms. I hope that whoever is reading this understands that I am angry. My son did not get the chance to do anything that others get to experience. I never want another child or family to experience what I did. He had bacterial pneumonia and meningitis. The signs were there and overlooked because he was trying to see so many patients in a day. Please, please, please follow your gut feeling. Go somewhere else to get a second opinion.
