My family and I are distraught with the thoughts that Dr A is retiring this year. We knew this time would come eventually and even with the new Dr it doesn’t make it easier. He has been so supportive and genuine and truly one of the most wonderful person in our lives. His care for all of us showed in every visit one of us had with him.
I’m going to miss Carol Ann so so much as well. Every time she answered the phone I felt a sense of relief and comfort knowing what ever I needed would be looked after and done perfectly. We feel her love for us as well and her ability to know if things were urgent or not helped me relax when I called about one of my kids.
I am so sad right now but you both deserve all the best life has to give you so THANK YOU and enjoy your retirement :-)))

Dr Gerald has been a secret light in our lives,
No one has ever made me , let m e rephrase that.. no one has made us feel like he genuinely cared. I there are no words to express how vert grateful we are that he has been and remained one of emilys primary care givers, Dr A. I just want to know, Emily says she could have never done this all with out your help. we are forever grateful,

A consult with Dr. A will make you feel better. His chairside manner is calming and confident. His staff is very accommodating and Carol Ann goes out of her way to make you feel cared for.

Dr A and his team make my day. If I go in afraid something is really wrong with my health I come out smiling because of the reassurance he gives me. My family and I travel a long distance to see him as well and for good reason- there is no one else as good as him. In fact everyone in the office are like him. Keep up the fantastic work. We appreciate you all!

Dr A has been our GP for over 13 years now. Words can not express the peace of mind he and his team give us. We moved an hour away 4 years ago and still make the drive when we need him.

Truly a fantastic office. Everyone in it is top notch. They all have helped me through so much. I love them all. It is so incredible to be able to be helped with my stress and anxiety.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Achtymichuk! He is a wonderful and caring doctor. I have been a patient of his for a long time and he also takes care of my entire family. I have never had to wait too long in the waiting room however I know he's busy so if he's running behind it's totally understandable. Once you're in you understand why - he makes each and every patient feel important and listens to their concerns without making them feel rushed. He has always taken the time to listen to my issues and then make the appropriate treatment plan. . He has the best beside manner. He also knows when to refer if he feels your problem is best to be seen by a specialist. Whenever I get testing done, the nurse will often call me to let me know the results and any issues that may arise from it. Yes it sometimes takes awhile to get an appointment however if you are having a more urgent issue then you can be triaged to be seen sooner (or go to the ER if it's a true emergency!). The reason it takes a few weeks to see him is because his practice is full and there is a shortage of GPs in Ontario. Anyone that complains about Dr. Achtymichuk is out to lunch--we are so lucky to have a doctor like him! If you have a problem with the staff remember that being rude will get you nowhere. You will catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Dr Achtymichuk is an alright doctor, he tries for sure but does not always give the best advice and will trial and error on things he has no clue about (mental health). His staff are HORRIBLE, his wife is the worst tho Carol Ann. They give bad advice, disregard ur concerns and make u wait weeks to see him. He either needs to take control of HIS office or just retire already because all his practice is hurting people!!!!!
