We have been taking our son to see Dr. Schmitt for many years. He is thorough and goes through all of his previous records and charts at every visit. Dr.Schmitt is extremely patient,understanding and takes the time to listen, answer questions and explain every aspect of treatment and preventative care.

Wonderful pediatrician. When we needed a referral for my oldest son who is ADD inattentive he did so. He is very thorough. My youngest contracted RSV and he was very thorough but reassuring. (my son was wheezing very loud and wasn't pro fusing well. He was calm and and made quick arrangement to get him inpatient and treated. He is very sweet with my children.

Even with insurance (an no $ owing) refused to okay my daughter with 104 fever & hallucinating, to have treatment at hospital on Christmas day. Told me my, then 5 year old daughter, would be (yes, he used the word) retarded. Two years ago my "retarded" daughter graduated high school (regular diploma) with a 3.58 gpa.
