I have seen Dr. Woolfrey in emergency a few times. I found him to be extremely intelligent, but he could really improve his bedside manner.

He sis the worst and should not be practicing medicine
$on two different occasions with two different people he did not show he cared , would not even order blood test to see if person had blood clots
The other said it was skin cancer nd didn’t even order biop, absolutely would never see this idiot of doctor again. His demeanour is the worst as he does not care at all

Incompetent doctor! He is my mother's physician and has been for years! My mother has been sick since at least Feb of this year. He kept giving her antibiotics that were not working; but all it would have taken was a simple blood test to find out she has cancer! Even after delivering the news to her and basically sending her on her way, his follow-up care has been sickening. Instead of making sure she was referred to the correct doctors and had the correct tests needed, I had to chase down these resources for my mother. Requisitions were not marked 'urgent' but instead marked 'follow up', another was sent to a doctor with zero follow-up on his part, and no way for us to even contact this other doctor.
Trying to actually speak to his staff instead of VM is impossible! When you do manage to get through or get a call back, the attitude you get from them is unreal. They make excuses for him and act like you're putting them out by asking for information that they should already have given you. All that I can say is if you or a family member has this person for a doctor, pray you never get seriously ill and be prepared to be your own advocate or get someone to help you. This doctor doesn't care one way or the other about his patients. He does however love getting out that prescription pad as the solution for everything!

encountered Dr Woolfrey at Emergence & recently. Mother loves trusts this man as he cares for her these last few yrs while she lives here 1/2 time. His assistant is the best ever we will add! Yup.. am jealous of Mom: cuz I'd give anything to call him our Dr.
So bout me now, Blown away care, concern not only 4 the issues I presented but 4 my future health.
Memory flash!! yrs ago Emergency after 2+ yrs of spitting up blood ..sorry but hey! is what is (minimist tendency added to my GP's ) Woolfrey says "u do know this is not normal" , you need your Dr. to address this.
I try my Dr after but it took visit with my husband in attendance telling same thing be4 go acted ..but we won't go there.. lol! GP by the way no longer practicing as a GP..
Impressed with many excellent Dr's at this facility. Like to think Dr Woolfrey has helped make this happen.
O.k. sharing For 1st time since childhood my night terrors, constant dreaming have stopped completely.. 4 days now.. have never ever known unobstructed, uninterrupted night of sleep till now!! Woolfrey tidied my chart with updating, eliminating impertinent stuff. He dealt with more than 1 of my issues( I tend to save them up in bunches) he addressed those and more I neglected in conclusion
Too bad we can't clone this Man of Medicine.

he appears to be a real fighter for all..we lose Dr's that appear to like brighter lights, more crowds, more jingle in their pockets. We'll trust those to sift and filter to let the best rise to the top and stay. pr

This Dr is incompetent! Should not be seeing patients! He’s my 86 year old Mothers Dr and the mistakes he has made with her medication is life threatening! He just shrugs it off. Just because she’s 86 he must think she’s not worth the trouble
My Mom is a vibrant healthy senior who unfortunately suffers from Neuralgia in her face. We have asked Dr Woolfrey many time to refer her to a Neurologist. He says to her all the time, I don’t know what to do for you! Last month he changed her medication again that almost killed her! A week went by and she collapsed when she got to hospital they found out he gave her the wrong medication and 3 times the dose any human can take! He just said “oh sorry my bad” Another time she went he prescribed the exact medication that she’s already taking and said this should work. He don’t care about the elderly! He should be reviewed or something! Absolutely shameful to be called a Dr

thos doctor is very helpful . He helped me when nobody else could . Even though he runs a side practice for methadone patients - his prescriptions are always legit and reasoned . he put me on a reasonable dose that helped me - and though I've moved on and now see my family doctor in the clinic - I owe my 4 years of sobriety to HIM . He is very knowledgable - and even though he doesn't have to time to stop and chat - or say "hi" in the hallways - he is extraordinary in his practice and will give you his full attention . He was VERY kind and understanding and compassionate during my Father in laws death. He's a good doctor .

Dr. Woolfrey is extremely professional... IGNORE the last comment about his prescribing perks to an addict, because in my three years of seeing him monthly, one thing i have learned is that Woolfrey is NOT a pill pusher by any means. He puts his foot down on addicts coming in for pills. He LOVES his town . and wants to clean it up. And to help the town he even went through measures to be able to provide Methadone Maintenance Treatment to addicts in the area....Even though these patients need more help and attention than most patients in his clinic, and they can be quite un-pleasant at times... he still welcomes MMT at his clinic for the greater good of Botwood. . . Him and Barnes and Goodfellow have truely turned botwood around for the better by welcoming these patients in for MMT. Before we would all need to travel to St. Johns following a 2 year waiting list..,. Now were able to get help here RIGHT in our hometown..... Thanks to Woolfrey i've been opiate CLEAN for 3 years... he is a GREAT doctor......

Not sure if his practice is professional.. News is a recovered drug addict was prescribed "Perks" after his completion. Seems strange to me.

Terrible doctor. Should have been sued for malpractice a long time ago. Worst bedside manner I have even experienced. Does not seem knowledgeable, and does not seem to care or follow up. He is hiding in his little town where no one will find him guilty of his horrible practice.
