DR TOPPER DID SURGERY ON MY LEFT WRIST FOR KEINBACKS DISEASE AND HE DID SURGERY ON MY RIGHT WRIST FOR A TENDON PROBLEM, BOTH SURGERIES TURNED ERY WELL. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE OUT COME AND HIS STAFF WAS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND HELPFULFRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

Doctor Topper as reconstructed both clavicles and the 4th metacarpal in my right hand. I have lost zero use from any of these injuries and experience no pain.

I thank Doctor Topper for his skill fixing the things I have broken.

My life is better because of him!

I had CARPEL TUNNEL in both hands. Dr. Topper did my left hand endoscopically and I cannot tell you what a completely different experience and surgery it was compared to my right hand which was done previously by another doctor - cut straight up the palm - it was HORRIBLE, painful and healed terribly. My right hand to this day still hurts & is forming scar tissue. My left hand, that Dr. Topper did has healed and you can barely see any scarring. Dr. Topper knows what he is doing! 100% recommend

I have had surgery by Dr. Topper on both of my wrist for carpal tunnel syndrome over the past 12 years. There were no complications. He was quick, thorough, professional. The scars blend in with the creases in the skin on my wrist so you can barely see them. I would definitely recommend Dr. Topper for any type of surgery on the hand or wrist.

I had partial wrist fusion surgery performed by Dr Topper and I give him and his staff the highest possible rating. He is a talented, knowledgeable and confident surgeon. It is hard for me to understand some of the less than flattering comments I have read. I am on Medicare and had absolutely no problems at all. I give Dr Topping and his staff the highest recommendation possible.

I have seen Dr. Topper on two separate occasions, once for a wrist issue and the second time for a shoulder issue. On the first visit, he was professional, prompt, respectful, and remedied my issue quickly in a very conservative, cost-effective manner. He indicated if the result wasn't satisfactory, that I should return. A year later, I had no relapse of the wrist symptoms. Because of my excellent experience, I returned to him for shoulder issues. He again suggested a conservative approach. Dr. Topper was sensitive to the fact that my insurance required that I receive therapy from a specific hospital system. His specific words to his receptionist were "who do we like at {specific hospital system named} for shoulders". I was given a specific therapist's name to see. When I later informed her of that comment, she indicated that she was the only therapist in that entire hospital system who had training in some very specific shoulder techniques. I thought it was great that a surgeon would take a conservative approach twice rather than suggest surgery. I was also impressed that Dr. Topper would take the time to have a list of the therapy experts with different therapy providers in the city. I work in the health system and know that it is rare for a physician to take that much care.

Similar to some of the other reviews about Dr. Topper; he is arrogant, rude, and disrespectful. He had no interest in helping me out and I think it is because he just wants to do a quick surgery and move on. I have had pain in my hand for over two months and he made me feel like I need to continue living with it because he doesn't know what it is.. He rolled his eyes at me a few times and made me feel very uncomfortable. His staff was very cold and not helpful at all. I have never felt so uncomfortable with a doctor and I will NEVER be going to him again. He didn't care at all and failed to give me important information that I needed to know regarding my hand. My experience was so bad with him that I left the office in tears.. If you want someone to help you, then don't go to him.

I was referred to Dr. Topper by two primary care physicians who claimed he was the best and a friend who had a previous successful surgery done by Dr. Topper. I am now 6 months post-op and pleased with the outcome of my surgery. In addition, Colorado Hand Center has a wonderful therapist, Diane, on staff in the same office.

Arrogant and rude says it all. Extremely uncomfortable experience throughout the entire process. What little bedside manner Dr Topper has will leave a lot to be desired. After reading on this site and others of all the patients like me who had such an awful experience, I wish I would have soon my homework first. If you want a doctor who is even close to kind or respectful you will not choose Dr Topper or this office in general. If you want a doctor who cares at all, he is not the right fit for you.

Arrogant, uncaring, and completely poo-poo'd me. I have been in pain for a month and was referred to him by my PCP - he totally blew me off and told me to wait another month of being in pain - THEN he would do something.... Will not go back to see him again....
