I had read reviews and was prepared for a terrible experience when I attended the appointment with my son. Dr want was actually very personable and over the past 6 years has been amazing with my son!

I too saw this Dr. On June 9 & 10th the reviews are true, this guy is a very arrogant man with no manners at all. He doesn’t listen to his patients, has no empathy for anybody and I understand he is now been placed on leave and taken off our case! Good riddance as I was going to fire his sorry butt and ask for another oncologist!

I have worked in the health care profession for over 40 years. Worked with world renowned professionals who never would treat people like this character. I am appalled by the way he treats patients and their Families during the time of despair. This man who calls himself a Doctor who is none the less a rude so called human being. He continually asked what should be done for this patient. Well I ask did you not go to Med School? Your the so called Doctor. You are arrogant, with no compassion, empathy. Unfortunately you missed those classes. Obviously you have never had a Family member go through a traumatic situation like being diagnosed with Cancer. Having a poor prognosis. The patient and Family are trying to deal with the physical, emotional aspects of what is happening to them. Shame on you. You took an Oath. I believe someday you will be reported to the College of Physicians reporting your unprofessional behaviour. This is unexceptable. Someone has to be accountable.

I finally saw him on my last day of 16 treatments, 10 days after I needed to see him for issues that had surfaced and after I had seen another oncologist. He subjected me to an unwarranted unprofessional, loud and agressive tirade. I would never recommend this oncologist to anyone. A cancer patient, or any patient, need to be treated like that.

My cancer may have been minor but that doesn't mean that I don't count. What an arrogant "doctor". In months, he couldn't even be bothered to make the trip from Sudbury to the Sault to see his patients. I feel sorry for the staff having to deal with angry patients. I finally said that I'm not 'bothering' to let him bill the government for a phone call to me which is all he was doing. My problem was dealt with in Feb. and he tried to call me several times after that. How does the College of Physicians think he can see the results of radiation over the phone? They need to deal with this arrogant person who shouldn't even be called a doctor. No compassion there.

I saw this Dr today and hope to never have a life threatening cancer that I'd need to see him again. I was told be at the hospital an hour before my appointment, then I was left to sit in a room for over an hour waiting. I understand I am not the only one seeing the Dr but when he did finally come into the room he was rude, and had the attitude that I was bothering him with my minor skin cancer, I had questions which he answered as if I was wasting his time. If I ever need to see an oncologist again I will request someone other than this Dr.

There is something seriously wrong with this man. I couldn't stand 10 minutes with his arrogance. Long story short I am NOT wearing a colostomy bag as he had suggested. Totally different course of treatment by a different wonderful doctor and am cancer free. I have never met such a insensitive individual. How he calls himself a doctor is a mystery. Very concerning!

Dr Want is the most arrogant person I have ever met. I brought him a report and scan from the hospital indicating a cancerous tumor on my spine and he decided i did not have cancer even before looking at the scan and refused to treat it.

I am so disgusted on how this guy treats people who are scared and just need assurance that things will be okay. My son had questions to ask about his brain tumours and the treatment he was deciding on going with. Doctors response!! I don’t have time!! Well then what are you doing in this!! ProfessionYou need to learn about compassion and care!! I hope that reading your terrible reviews opens your eyes! How dare you treat people the way you do!!
