Rude, condescending, and I question his knowledge in the field. It could be possible that his understanding and reason is out of practice and outdated, but either way he is not good at his job. He tried to tell me that my medications were “ineffective” at the dose I’m taking, not considering my size and potential biological need and I’m pretty sure he questioned my prior diagnosis, which is bold considering he barely listened to a word I said while answering his questions. He also tried telling me to take benedryl rather than my anxiety medications when I asked him what he would prescribe in place of what I had been taking (because it was a controlled substance). I stated multiple times that I would be willing to try a different medication, but he kept attempting to downplay my condition. He saw me for all of 30 min while complaining that I was late (I was due to traffic, I called ahead and they told me to still come in. I attempted to apologize multiple times but kept being cut off). When I asked if I could be screened for adhd he asked me why as if knowing and understand more about yourself isn’t helpful in any way. He reminded me that we “didn’t have time” and ushered me out the door. Again, 30 min session. That’s not the amount of time my insurance is paying him for. The lady at the front desk was friendly, but despite her double checking my email address I still have yet to receive the paperwork that I needed to fill out for my appointment. When I called lifestance, I asked if I should bother filling it out if I didn’t plan on returning to that doctor, and was informed that it was not necessary. Please reconsider scheduling with him. You don’t need to feel gaslit while trying to better yourself.

Dr Jackson completely berated my former doc and insisted I didn't need the 5 meds I was on. He would not recommend TMS and called it "snake oil" even though it's FDA approved and has helped thousands of patients with treatment resistant depression. I will never go back to him and never, ever refer anyone else to him.

I ended up having to see Dr. Jackson twice. The only reason there was a second visit was because I couldn't get in to see another doctor before my prescription ran out. Hands down the worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting with. He had no personality whatsoever, was disengaged, and honestly came across as a slow and dim witted. He wasn't knowledgeable in any capacity that I could tell. Save yourself a co-pay and find someone else.

I rarely leave reviews for anything, but after meeting with him I felt I had to say something to inform people of what kind of bland moron they would be seeing if they made an appointment. Every site that reviews doctors has him averaging 2 stars or less. I usually don't trust reviews, but in this case they are 100% accurate.

He told me that basically I was too fat to help and just needed more broccoli. Then tried to slap a random diagnosis on me.

I have read the comments on this website and other websites about Jackson and can see he is truly a monster by the way pts have reported his behavior: rude, condescending, and he does not listen. I have read several comments that he refused to read pts previous records don't know why he would do that except he may be incompetent. I spent 10 minutes with him and could see after 30 seconds that he was incapable of any compassion it was as if he is or was devoid of feeling he had a flat affect, and when I had seen jackson at first prior to my visit with him I thought he was a depressed psyc pt and when I was told that he was my doctor I said to staff, "That depressed mopey looking man is a doctor"? I wanted to cry as I thought he looks more depressed than I, so I went home after spending 10 minutes speaking with him. I have avoided treatment for years and now that I need help & want it I cant get it. I don't know why anyone would go back to him a second time he has some problems and I want nothing to do with him as he immediately asked questions that were embarrassing as he does not care if a female pt needs to build trust and 30 seconds is not long enough to ask me, "Were you r-a-p-e-d"? Well he is the last person I want to speak with about r-a-p-e and being in his condescending presence is r-a-p-e its self. He is just hateful and looks down on pts and makes them feel dirty. One pt commented that the VA sent him to Jackson for ptsd I guess the VA can't be trusted, as the VA sent me to this provider, so now I can see why -to keep pts from treatment and a proper diagnosis. So if you want to ruin your life go to Jackson the pt hater. I think he despises woman he grilled me question after question about the most embarrassing and personal things as soon as we met and never introduced himself. Iam profoundly devastated by his behavior and the VA's poor decision in sending me to him as to sabotage me. Now I will not seek treatment from anyone as it took years for me to even try and look what happened to me. Avoid Jackson as all he cares about is sabotaging human lives. People are fragile and Jackson goes in for the kill to dismantle every pts selfestem by verbal assault, because he does not care and he had me scared to death. WARNING to all veterans and women stay away from Jackson he will not listen to pts and he is not capable of diagnosing or treating. Finding or wanting help is difficult, but someone like Jackson is a nightmare and he is truly the last person I needed to see as I was set up when I was sent to see him.
Jackson reminds me of the living dead as he wants to suck the life out of every pt he sees. The people who wrote good comments about him which are few, must be relatives who felt sorry for him.

Very distant, even unfriendly. Never saw him smile in 5 or 6 visits for medication. Unsure of quality of care.

Took months to see him, stated suicide is a behavioral problem not a mental/depression issue. He is not interested in what youve done

Went to George Jackson.. The worst DrI have ever been to. Had I not had /have previous excellent counseling, I would have been in an extremely dangerous situation mentally. Had been managed through my new Dr as mine had moved. She felt I would benefit from a “specialist’. He was condescending, cold, seemed to care only to hear himself speak. Made an incorrect diagnosis, but offered no useful alternative. He asked questions that didn’t seem relevant to helping me. His response to not being able to sleep.. run a marathon every day!!😳. Ridiculous! Offered only a med I have documented allergy to. Did not listen to input I have about myself. Horrible, terrible, worst ever.. DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER TO ANYONE!

Disrespectful staff. Even more disrespectful doctor. Can't believe he has a medical degree and a hospital puts him on staff. Refuses to look at previous records from qualified, board-certified doctors. Didn't even care what I had to say. Cannot recommend this doctor or clinic. Just RUN AWAY!!
