I was a patient of Doctor pearls for over 20 years. And she if she was medium, I would have stayed for life. Dr. Pearl was rude and aggressive on more than one occasion. Three strikes and you’re out.

Dr. Pearl referred me to a dermatology appointment which took over six months to get. Once there, took 2 hours of waiting in a room filled with people who had colds- and when the doctor finally saw me, she randomly took some nail clippings and put them in her pocket. Lol! I never heard from her again. What a waist of time. Nice referral. With so much care!

It took me a while, but I found an amazing, kind, knowledgeable and competent doctor that I don’t stress over.

Good riddance Dr.Pearl.

She may be a very knowledgeable Dr, but the way she treated the nurse and me/the patient means I'll never know. I realize it's not personal, but how can you build trust with a doctor that is rude, dismissive and condescending? Thank goodness she is not my GP.

I have been with Dr. Pearl since the early days of her practicing medicine. I have read the good and bad ratings and I fall somewhere in-between on her bedside manner. But, because I've known her for so long, and I'm still with her, that's enough to confirm that I believe in her knowledge and expertise. Yes, I have seen her on her bad days - we ALL have them. But, this does not deter from her ability as an excellent primary care doctor. I had a situation where something urgent came up with my health and she promptly got me over to Women's college getting an ultrasound within a half hour! She is well connected and that's is incredibly important with our broken health care system. I value her and I think her efficiency is what makes her office run so smoothly. I have now referred my two young adult daughters to her and I feel confident that she will take good care of them also. Thank you Dr. Pearl!

she has been my GP for 35 yrs so i am more than qualified to make my point.
she is a very angry woman, she has no compassion, she has no interest in her patients, she is lazy and has very little availability during the week to see her patients. she misdiagnoses , she does not make the appropriate referrals, she never follows up, and she raises her voice and speaks to you in a very derogatory way. she fought with the other doctors at her office over money, it got so bad they moved out and got another office..........lol. how this woman has managed to keep her license is beyond me. i am sorry to say i am going to be filing a complaint with the college of physicians and surgeons this year.

Dr. Monica Pearl is the worst GP I've ever had the misfortune of of seeing. She seemed proficient, was always punctual (her only saving grace) but as soon as I had health issues she was uncaring, rude and dismissive. I developed chronic pain and asked for a requisition for X-ray and/or MRI. She refused, brushing me off and did nothing. I literally begged her for pain killers and she said, and I quote, "Why can't you just take Tylenol"! I was stunned! I responded by saying "Do you honestly think that if Tylenol worked I'd be suffering so badly?" I basically told her to go to hell and found a doctor who truly understood what I was going through. I've now had x-rays and an MRI which both confirmed that I had severe spinal disc degeneration and a chronic pain disorder.
Run from this uncaring, incompetent "company line doctor" as fast as you can!

i have been seeing her for 30 yrs. i have terminated my relationship with her for many reasons. she is very angry and everytime i speak to her she makes me feel bad about myself. i have been a critical care RN for 40 yrs and i do have a good knowledge of medical conditions. she has always treated me like i no nothing and this hurts. i know my body better than anyone. she does't listen, she is argumentative and confrontational and she is nothing short of a bully. i have found a new doctor and will look forward to having an adult relationship with her. monica needs to get in touch with her very sad inner child. the doctor patient relationship should be a happy and healthy one, not a battle of the wills. goodbye monica and i don't wish you good luck

Have been seeing her for many years and her professionalism, patient centred care remain consistently well above average. We live in Peterborough where MDs are hard to come by and we are seniors as well. Dr. Pearl considers these realities and I believe goes the extra mile in her holistic care for my husband and me. Hope to be able to have her for as many years as we have left.

Dr Monica Pearl is an amazing doctor. She's been my doctor for years and she has always taken great care of me and my family . Her knowledge is just amazing, and over the years I have gotten to know a bit about her back round as well . She comes from a family of doctors , and her father was an amazing doctor as well . Dr Hyman Pearl from Granby Quebec . Dr Monica Pearl like her dad , have always been at the top of their class , and as a matter of fact , Dr. Monica Pearl graduated from the Medical school of the University of Toronto at the age of 22 years old . She's an absolute genius , and I trust her opinion absolutely .
