Dr. Pollit is nice, but be careful because he was too aggressive with my braces. There's a saying - braces too fast, the gums don't last!

I had significant gum problems due to the overly-aggressive braces timeline. Work was average, but unfortunately, he lacked significant knowledge about the risk of gum damage due to braces. Of course this is something that orthodontist would not admit since there is always pressure to try and get the braces off as soon as possible.

Honestly, trying something like invisalign would be your best bet. No risk of gingival recession AND you won't have to go through AGONIZING pain when they do the dreaded "readjustments" (i.e. SEVERE pain with chewing for about 1-2 weeks at a time). Go through invisalign, save yourself $$ and pain and YOUR GUMS!

Been seeing Dr. Daniel Pollit for almost 10 years, since I was a teenager. One of the best healthcare professionals I've ever interacted with. Amazing bedside manner, calm demeanour, very patient, and listens to all your concerns. He fixed my severe overbite and gave me confidence! My smile is my best quality.

Never have to wait more than 15 minutes in the waiting room for the Dufferin location. I recommend everyone to him!

My daughter has been under his care for about 7 years. He is kind, patient and a perfectionist. His entire staff is friendly and caring...never a bad experience in 7 years.

Dr Pollit worked on my sister many years ago and she was happy with her results she recommended I go to him and I did. Just started my treatment with him so far so good. Ill write a review in 18 months after my treatment.

Dr. Pollit was my orthodontist, I hesitated a long time to have a tooth removed and the treatment took much longer that planned, never once did he seemed bothered with the fact the I was taking too long to make a decision, never once did he ask me for more money. I agree 100% with the review below he is classy all the way. My daughter will need braces soon, never in my wildest dreams would I consider taking her to see any other orthodontist. I have full trust in his work.
