I have been seeing Dr. Pollit for more than 8 years now! I must have been 18 years when I first went to see him for braces and in the last three years, I've been going to see him once a year for retainer check ups!

While the cost of braces may have seemed intimated for my mother in the beginning, I can say that he gives you most for your dollar! Initially, he said my teeth would shift in a few years but it took longer than expected. No matter how long it took, he made sure to see me routinely until both him and me were satisfied with how my teeth looked. He delivered on his services without asking for additional money - that's classy!

I have always had pleasant experiences at his Dufferin location. Everytime i go to see him, whether he's running behind schedule or I am, that he manages to see me in less than 30 minutes. He and his secretary also make you feel comfortable by chatting with you. And you can always reschedule your appointments without being penalized.

I would recommend his services to anyone interested in getting braces for children, teens or adults!

I was very unpleasantly surprised when I have been charged extra, for fixing my daughter retainer. I have been also talked to other people and they have agreed with me. I am also scared by the fact that one of the parents whose kid was treated by doctor Pollit said they did not noticed the benefic effect of the retainer. Recentely the doctor was supposed to come see my daughter by the dentist(next door) after an extraction, and he forgot to come. Same, happened before he went on vacation, there were days when my doughter could not be seen. In conclusion, I am not very pleased, and also afraid.

I went for a braces consultation. He was very helpful. He explained to me the pros and cons of having braces in my case and actually recommended me not to have braces. He thinks in the patient's best interest, not his.

Dr. Pollit did my braces and I couldn't be happier! He's very nice, social and informative. He explains everything in full detail to ensure you understand! As an adult, I wasn't sure how I would get treated; but I learned he has a lot of adult patients! His staff is amazing! Always remembering my name and things we spoke about the last time I was there! There's something special about an office where you feel welcome and liked :) Would I recommend him?! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hands down, best orthodontist I've seen (and I went for quite a few consults!).

Definately recommend to others.Had my daughter ortho work done by him and now doing my son.Takes top marks for puntuality,helpfulness and knowledge.
