Dr. Loewan is attentive, addresses my raised concerns and has discussed multiple issues at a single appointment. He offers new treatments and solutions to consider, and is careful to review the pros and cons. He's a great doctor, and very good with women's health. I appreciate that he references online material to ensure his advice is as up to date as possible.

Dr Loewen is a very caring doctor who has always taken time to address all of my concerns in a competent, professional matter. We are quite pleased with his service. Those who are critical of time limitations should consider the restraints posed by the provincial health care system.

Dr. Loewen is quite helpful and personable. He's very empirically oriented and does care about his patients. The clinic definitely has time and scheduling concerns so if you're time crunched it's not helpful. He takes the time necessary for a proper diagnosis and is reasonably on the ball about new advances in medicine and technology.

I find Dr. Loewen to be very unorganized and he always seems to be in a rush when you are speaking to him; it's like a race for him to move you out as soon as he can. I find for the most part he is okay and as I have read the other comments it seems he is suited more for expecting mothers then for just treating general people.

Comes accross caring, but at this clinic, speed is eveything. I think they have a quota on patients they must see every hour. Very nice guy, but not very attentive. Not only does he need to look up most diagnosis in a book, but he informs you upfront that you have limited time and can only talk about one issue at a time. If you have two items that need attention, you have to re-book which at this clinic could be three weeks. Further, the receptionist never answers the phone, you cannot leave a message and they tell you on their answering message, to send in a fax and they will call you back. I have never received a call back yet. You have to call repeatedly untill your lucky enough to connect.

I was refered to Dr. Loewen with the pregnancy of my first child last year. He was the best doctor I ever had, he was very helpful for as many patients he had he always went that extra mile for me I realy miss him as a doc cause now I have moved back to bc and am expecting again I am so unhappy here with the docs trust me I am ready to tell them all I am going to calgary To deliver trust me i would if i where not 6 hours away. I would refer Dr. Loewen to anybody hes the best it will be hard to find another doctor as good as him. Thanks Dr Loewen

This doctor always keeps you waiting and then you are only allowed to discuss 1 issue at your appointment because he has to move to the next patient. You have to book another appt which will be about 2-3 weeks later. My husband and I both used him but changed drs due to the lateness issue as well as his lack of experience / knowledge. He referred to medical books for answers and was very poor at follow up of your issues.

Dr. Loewen has always been late, but when he finally arrives, he is very friendly with a great bedside manner. He is very knowledgeable and helpful, and stays on top of my concerns. I am happy with him as my doctor.

Dr Loewen never really addressed my concerns or pain. He always keeps me waiting even if I'm the first patient.
