I have been going to Dr. Reitsma for, minimum, 15 years. I place complete faith in him. He's a knowledgeable doctor, as well as a kind man. He NEVER makes me feel rushed ... Always answers all my questions, as well as asking if there is anything else that concerns me. As for his staff, Nancy is my "go to girl" and she is ALWAYS kind, as well as helpful. Never does she make me feel like I am bothering or inconveniencing her. She gets prescriptions called in immediately, and bends over backwards to squeeze me in if its an emergency. I plan to stay with this group for as long as possible.

Let me say well group is not the place to go anymore. First of all they are st. James doctors there either in court for mal practices or playing with people healths. I wouldnt go there ever again the doctor in Frankfort look at my x-ray and told me something and 2 days later ended up in the er at Christ hospitial totally read the x- ray wrong. Please stay away from these doctors they gambling with your health. There is a lot good doctors still out there.

Dr. Reitsma has always taken his time and made me feel as though he cared about my well being. He has a good bedside mannor and is very warm and friendly. The WellGroup staff is quite the opposite. The receptionists are unfriendly and seem preoccupied with speaking among themselves. They make you feel like a commodity passing through their billing process. The nurses are undependable and inconsistent. Their follow-up is poor at best after lab visits. They may be short handed when it comes to supporting the Dr. and the details necessary to fullfill the patient's needs. Speaking to the office manager is like speaking to a deer in headlights when you explain any dissatisfaction. Dr. Reitsma has been my only good experience with the WellGroup.

I have never felt like a doctor cared any less about me than Dr. Reitsma made me feel. He dismissed my feelings and symptoms as if I was just being dramatic. I left his office feeling worse than when I had walked in.

Dr. Reitsma is a professional and caring doctor. I’ve recommended many family and friends. He was on sick leave for over a year had he not returned I would’ve changed medical groups. Dr. Reitsma I like; Wellgroup not so much.

They have yet to have the documentation of my medications. He has not run normal blood tests for the meds im on. During the exam he stands in the door and asked me to back around so he could listen to my heart and lungs. If you just need flu and cough care he is ok kind of, if you want someone who cares keep looking.

Rude and uncaring. I haven't seen him for over a year and he hasn't called to check up on my newly diagnosed hypertension. After asking for over a year to consider medication because I was feeling so badly and my pressure was all over the place, he finally put me on meds. I asked "what's different now?" He said "because you didn't need it before, but now you do". He also said, (when I told him that a friend of mine who is a nurse, told me to go to my doctor to get my pressure checked) "why didn't she just treat you?" While it may be true, I disagree with his statement that the new guidelines for blood pressure are 130/90. Even if it's true, it's a great departure from what my normal pressure had been in the nearly 5 years I'd been his patient. He showed no concern. I believe that he was reacting to a conflict between myself and a family member who is also his patient--I feel he was taking sides. Very unprofessional.
