An amazing doctor and an amazing man …. The medical professions need more like him

I had Dr, Wheeler as my doctor since I was 19 for 33 years after choosing him because of his office location !!He was always calm, knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor and I felt I could always trust his recommendations to the right specialist. He delivered both my children and I can't say enough of what a wonderful doctor he was and I felt like crying when I received the letter that he was retiring - it felt like losing a close friend. Hope he is enjoying his retirement - well deserved!!!

I unfortunately, let this doctor get away because of my husband who wanted me to use his doctor. He is one of the very few that are left that care, are knowledgeable and really does help you. Play it smart for any of you that are lucky enough to have him and stay with him.

he might not ever be on time but he has been great, he has seen my grandma and helped with her cancer before she passed. my grandpa to date, mom, myself, and now my little baby, i am so sad by the fact that he is closing his practice! but now he can go spend time with his little grandbaby! thanks for all the help you were!! we will for sure miss you!

I have been seeing Dr. Wheeler for most of my life (over 30 years) and he is the BEST doctor. So sad he is retiring...I don't know how I'll ever find another doctor like him. He always takes the time needed to listen and advise. He is not one to pull out the prescription pad and think things can be solved with a pill - that's a last resort. His humour, compassion and sincere care for all his patients will be greatly missed.

I have been seeing Dr. Wheeler for over 35 years since I was 18. And I have always been well looked after by him & his staff. I was saddened to hear that he was closing his practice in July of 2012. But, like the rest of us, he needs to retire and enjoy life. I wish you well Dr. Wheeler, and all the best in your future travels! - AWJ

I've known Dr. Wheeler for almost 35 years now and I just can't say enough great things about him and his staff!! I've been nursing for almost 30 years, so I know EXCELLENCE when I see it, not to mention FUNNY TOO!! Laughter is the best medicine!! I'm so saddened that he is closing his office practice!! Thank you Bruce!!

Dr. Wheeler has been my doctor for over 30 years. I feel so comfortable with him. He is very respectful and knowledgeable, as well as a caring individual. He has a sense of humor too, so that in those embarrassing situations you can relax and have a little laugh. I do not look forward to the day he retires.

Dr.Wheeler has been the most gentle & caring physician for our family for 30 yrs...delivered my 4 children & has seen us thru' many issues. Understanding, intelligent, professional- I cannot say enough great things about him. His care has been our privilege.
