He has a wonderful bedside manner but far to many patients to give them the time they require. He looks tired and that makes people unsure of what to say.Many people are scared of his nurse though I personally like her.

I love Dr John...he was there when I was born and I am 28 years old today! I always find him caring and approachable.

We started out as patients of Dr. Jim Button 32 years ago and were delighted when Dr. John joined the practice in 1978. Dr. John is a very busy man but he still takes the time to talk to you for as long as necessary to be sure your questions are answered. He does not hesitate to send you to a specialist if he feels it is warranted. Although he missed a diagnosis for one of us, we still think very highly of him. He is overworked and is concerned with the government's seeming disregard for the need for more doctors in southwestern Ontario. We sincerely hope that his discouragement will not lead to an early retirement. We need him here!

Dr. Button is very knowlegdable in diagnosing illnesses and using various treatments. He will take the time to explain things in lamens terms so that the average person will understand it. He makes a great first and continuing impression. His office is a treat in our medical community. He also makes an genuine effort to be interested in the patient as a person. I am trhilled to have him as my family doctor.

Always punctual even though he is the busiest doctor I have ever seen. Appointments are super fast, but he takes care of whatever the problem is and gets on to his next one and takes the time needed to address your needs. The patient does need to ask for their own routine care such as paps or bloodwork since they don't mail out reminders and he doesn't really press for that stuff except for the elderly, but I think that is more a sign of how busy they are and the rural mentality that you only go to the doctor when you are sick. I don't blame him for that since he is ridiculously overworked, but a good doctor nevertheless.

In our 55 years of marriage we have had Dr. Jim Button and then his son Dr. John Button. Dr. John has always been helpful and straightforward with us. He is a very friendly professional, and will take time to answer all our questions. I hope that Dr. John does not retire for years and years, for I do not wish to have to find a new doctor when I am much older. --- Thank you for having this Web Site.

We love Dr. Button. Sometimes hard to get into but very easy to talk to and very helpful. Will ask you what you think!!! Highly recommended and been going to him since the day I was born.
