I too had deviated septum surgery by Dr.Gore Hickman. It has been months since my surgery and my nose still feels like my surgery was just recently done. It is sore to move, tender to touch, numb in parts, swollen with pressure inside that it feels like my nose is closing in and the nerves inside feel so tight from the top of my nose all the way down to my upper lip. It has not helped my airway and breathing, in fact at this point I’d say it has made it worse. I was informed that nerves are affected and that everyone heals differently, but I am starting to wonder what Dr Gore Hickman did in there to cause what I think to be abnormal complications in a routine surgery. My recovery was much harder than any other person I’ve known or heard of who has gone through this surgery. I know of and heard of many people who have had this surgery and feel completely back to normal after only 2 weeks! I know I can’t turn back time but this is now affecting my daily life and I wish I had never done it. I just hope I will eventually heal from this.

My experience with this man is an absolute horror story. He horribly screwed up my surgery which was a routine deviated septum. I cannot disclose details yet but people will hear about the nightmare this man put me through and how horrible it has affected me. RUN from this man. Also unspeakably arrogant and disrespectful and darn sure he doesn't have to take responsibility for his actions.

No respect or willingness to help me. Can not call him a "Quack" because I trust he has a Medical Degree. Doctors do hold control of your patients' lives, they can effect great harm or great benefit. In Dr. Gore-Hickmans case he could have made a difference for me but choose not to. I left feeling worse than when I had arrived. It seems in his reviews he picks and chooses who He wants to help.

My son has been dealing with ongoing ear infections and I’m so happy we were finally referred to Gore-Hickman. He placed tubes in my son’s ears and also replaced them the following year as well. My son, who was quite speach delayed at age 2, was speaking almost immediately following the first procedure. Gore-Hickman has been empathetic and thorough with each and every visit, treating us with kindness and respect. I’ve been extremely impressed with his overall bedside manner in dealing with my very young son. This man is a true gem, and his staff is organized and accommodating!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gore Hickman. I had a rhino/septoplasty done April 2017 First, he is the ONLY doctor I have seen who let me get the rhino in with the surgery. He said “I’ll be doing your deviated septum anyways so if your not happy with the appearance we might as well change it at the same time. “ I was so happy he was willing to do this for me. After the surgery everything went great , although a scar tissue bump started forming on the top of my nose .
I addressed my concern he right away put me back on a surgery list to have it taken care of no questions asked . He just recently removed the bump that had formed and my nose looks great. Hardly even a second surgery because it was so minor .
I’m kind of all over the place here but I’ve dealt with him a lot this past year , so I feel I should also add he is so patient and kind. I had probably asked on 3 different occasions how the bump formed and what it was (I don’t listen great I guess lol) he always answered any other concerns or questions I’ve had with great care and always made sure I was comfortable with the decisions we were making. I’m not sure how anyone could say he is rude because he is far from it, over all best doctor I could have asked for to go through this procedure with. Would highly recommend and would definitely use him again!!

I would like to say “Thank you for listening, caring and working with me to treat my ears”.

I have travelled the world and have been treated by many doctors for ringing in the ears and Meniere’s disease. Many doctors including some in Saskatoon, simply did not care and treated me like I should just put up with it.
You on the other hand cared and prescribed a course of treatment. I consider one of the best ENT that I have ever visited. The way you professionally and courteously treated me made me feel completely at ease knowing that I was in the hands of a true professional.

Saskatchewan is truly blessed to have such a competent and highly skilled ENT.
