I have had nothing but negative things with Dr. Orleans !!! On one occasion I had an appointment and was left sitting in the lobby while everyone in his office closed and left for the day. I did return on a later date. Dr. Orleans was very negative but I thought maybe he was having a bad day. Today I had a colonoscopy. Dr. Orleans stood near me while he was rude to a nurse and never even spoke to me or said a word. When I was taken in for the procedure all the crew was very nice but Dr. Orleans never said one word to me. Not one time did the man speak to me !! He is arrogant and could care less about his patients ……….I will never go there again. I'm sure it will make no difference to him but I will have the pleasure of telling everyone I know what a arrogant person he is !!!!!

Dr Orlean is very professional and he explains every detail of the procedure. The staff is helpful and always willing to help.

Dr. Orleans is a very thorough good GI Doctor. He explains everything to me and does follow testing. I️ would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR STEVEN ORLEANS TO ANYONE. I HAVE EXPERIENCED ABSOLUTE PAIN BECAUSE I CANNOT HAVE A BOWEL MOVEMENT. I SAW ORLEANS TWO YEARS AGO AND HE DID A SITZ MARKER TEST AND CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT WE SHOULD REMOVE MY COLON. I WAS IN DISBELIEF SO I WENT TO HAVE A SECOND OPINION. NOW TWO YEARS LATER, I UNFORTUNATELY DECIDED TO SEE ORLEANS AGAIN FOR A COLONOSCOPY AND MORE TEST BUT INSTEAD OF TALKING TO ME AND HELPING ME FIND RELIEF. HE LOOKED AT XRAYS AND FILES FROM 2015 AND LOOK AT ME WITH ONLY ONE OPTION. REMOVE MY COLON. I WAS FLOORED, UPSET AND HEARTBROKEN THAT THAT IS THE ONLY ROUTE THIS MAN GAVE ME. HE DID NOT DIAGNOSE ME OR HELP ME IN ANYWAY. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN HIS OFFICE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO SEE HIM EITHER. KC!

I was worried as I read all of these negative reviews on the morning of my procedure. However, my experience was almost perfection. From registration before the procedure to being discharged after the procedure, I was completely satisfied with the people in charge of each step. As for Dr. Orleans, I only saw him for a second and he was polite during that second. He came right before the procedure introduced himself and asked if I had any questions. I had no problem at all. And I will give a shout out to the nurses who assisted me. As far as I'm concerned, they answered "callings" by becoming nurses.

I recently had a double procedure with Dr. Orleans. He did not see me before the procedure or after. Even when he came in the room to do the procedure, he never spoke to me. He spoke with my husband about one minute and rattled off everything. I talked with one of his nurses at his office the next day, and she was very uncaring and rude. I will not go back to him and certainly cannot recommend him to anyone.

I've seen Dr. Orleans twice now. He is very polite and knowledgable. I really respect him, he has went out of his way to help me. I would never change G.I. doctors. J.D. Knapp

I read all these negative comments and can't help but wonder if they are seeing the same Dr. Orleans that I am a patient of. He has always been very attentive and his bedside manner while in the hospital earlier this year was very compassionate and attentive. He has always taken the time to get to the root of my problems and we have worked together to resolve/minimize my health issues. I highly recommend him and plan to continue on as a patient. (Crohns, Pancreatic Insufficiency, Radiation Damage, 2 Small Bowel Obstructions, Recurrent Intussusceptions).

Dr. Orleans, Well with my son he was great for many years, works very hard, talks very little. Does he know his GI, Yes, does he overwork himself, yes, Does he try to see to many patients YES. Is he a good man YES..However on December 2nd, 2013 my daughter whom he is treating for Gastro Paresis which is a terrible problem that she has had for many years, over the course of years she has visited many GI Doctors and we have had to argue with them about her problems and HAVE not gotten any help. Dr. Orleans whom I said is not a big talker and will never be, BUT he jumped right on top of her problem. HOWEVER DURING HER upper and lower GI, they did not give enought meds to put her out so she suffered during the procedure and was awake, and aks for help and no one helped her.....SINCE THE PROCEDURE SHE HAS AND IS STILL IN EXTREME PAIN, 48 HOURS LATER AND NO ONE WILL CALL IN PAIN MEDS FOR HER.
