I've had pain in my wrist for such a long time and I explained to Dr. Mohrmann my situation which he showed no interest. I had all sorts of therapy done for my wrist and MRIs. After wearing the brace that he suggested for a month and a half, he had me take about 2 more MRIs which I was paying even with my insurance. I came to his office and he looked at my wrist and said that possible surgery might be needed and send me to get another MRI. A few days later he calls me and tells me that "everything is fine" and to do therapy for a couple of weeks and resume regular activity. What kind of inconsistent answer is that? My wrist has been the same for the past 3, almost 4 years and he tells me to do therapy for 2 weeks and resume activity? I was fed up with his neglect and I worst his office and email that I was going to write a bad review for the way he has treated me and my pain. He failed to acknowledge my pain and once he received the email he calls me and literally tells me" are you THREATENING ME". In no way shape or form did I disrespected him or the office. I am a young black man expressing his frustrations because I'm in pain and he took my way of expressing my frustration as a form of threat. What does that say about him? He never spent more than a minute on the phone or video call and is always trying to rush things. His staff had to call me and explain my treatment options because he couldn't take the time to speak to his client. I communicated that I was angry and frustrated and he took it as a threat. I already go through too much in life for me to have a doctor that has no sympathy towards me and sees my sadness and disappointment as a threat. I do not know how he treats his white clients but I do know how he treated me. I have been in pain for so long and telling me to do therapy for 2 weeks and to go to regular activities is not going to help. He for sure took my money from the visits and probably made money from all the MRIs that he sent me to do. Not sure how that works, all I know is that I express sadness and he views it as a threat. His staff is more professional than he is and I wouldn't even consider him a doctor. A doctor bows to be empathetic and understanding towards their clients. A doctor is someone who cares for people, someone who understands, someone who's goal is to lessen the pain of those who feel it. I deeply regret wasting my time in such a rude, nasty, and bias environment. At the end of the conversation, he literally told me " you can go to a different doctor" in a rude way. All I want is for my pain to be over and I felt like he was just milking me for co-pays and MRIs. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you are black, not go to him. Just like me, he'll probably see you as a threat rather than a patient who is hurting. In the end, it's up to you, but don't be surprised if it turns out as it did with me although I hope it doesn't. So now I'm just here stuck with the same pain that I've had for 3 or more years and I can't do anything about it. Thank you Dr. Morhmann for such class and effort, I truly REGRET ever stepping foot in your office. You are not a doctor, just someone who makes money and does not care for his patients.
