After 4 consults, I chose Dr. Chiles to do my L3-L5 spinal fusion on August 2nd of this yr. Obviously it has only been 3 months but everything is going well. Most notably no more pain down my legs. I and Dr. Chiles have every confidence that I will make a complete recovery and will be playing golf again this spring. I have no doubts. The experience has been everything Dr. Chiles advised me it would. At our consult he explained everything and answered every question my wife and I had. He is a very impressive and confident man and an excellent surgeon. But the experience doesn't end there. His office staff is second to none. They always have time for your questions and if the question is for Dr.Chiles it's always answered within 24 hours. I had the surgery at White Plains Hospital where I received excellent care and service which I attributed to the stature of Dr. Chiles. I would highly recommend him.

Prior to seeing Dr Chiles, I went from my primary, to urgent care, to the ER, and back to urgent care, where a lower spine injury was finally diagnosed. I went to another spine specialist and left the consult with a bad feeling. I was referred to Dr Chiles by two co-workers. My first contact was with Sarah and Jessica in the office. They were absolutely fantastic and made this stressful situation so much better. At my consult, I felt comforted and impressed. Dr Chiles is very knowledgeable, yet spoke to me in terms I could understand. I was provided as long of an appointment as I needed to have all my options presented and all my questions answered. Actually, he provided so much pertinent information, many questions were answered before I asked them. My consult was informative, comforting, and left me with a true sense of hope. I needed a laminectomy, decompression and fusion of my L3-L5 vertebrae. We scheduled my surgery at NYP Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville. Dr Chiles and his surgical (as well as his office) staff are the absolute best. Together, they resolved my crippling back pain, got me standing upright, back on my feet and back to enjoying life pain free. Thank you to everyone who assisted me especially Dr Chiles! I highly recommend Dr Chiles to anyone with a spinal injury/illness. KMB

I needed surgery on my cervical spine and was very scared. From my very first meeting with Dr.Chiles I knew everything was going to be alright. He answered all my questions without me even asking any! The surgery went well and I am feeling so much better! I was recommended by a friend and I’m so glad that he took my insurance! I as well would highly recommend Dr. Chiles. His staff is wonderful as well. The whole experience went better than I could have imagined. The one word that comes to mind for Dr. Chiles is “Impressive “

Herniated discs in my neck caused significant disruption in my daily functioning and may have led to paralysis if not treated in a timely manner. Dr. Chiles was professional, kind and informative. Before surgery I was unable to pick up a coffee cup with my left hand. Just after surgery he asked me to pick up a pitcher of water. I was able to...above my head and with full range of motion. That was over 10 years ago. There have been no complications, setbacks or recurrence of symptoms. My hero.

I was diagnosed with an infection in my middle back very close to my spine; and needed a very good Neurosurgeon. My cousin who is an Anesthesiologist immediately recommended Dr. Chiles to perform the complex surgery. From the beginning it was obvious to see why he came highly recommended; everyone from the Nursing staff, Administrators, and fellow Doctors spoke very well of him. His skills as a surgeon are regarded as one of the best.
I felt very comfortable from the moment I met Dr. Chiles. He was very professional, and knowledgeable about the procedure he was to perform. He took time to explain and answer any questions that I may have had, no matter how redundant they may have been.
My procedure went very well, and within a month I was back to my regular routine. Much thanks to Dr. Chiles and his courteous staff who went above and beyond the call making the whole process so less stressful.

I saw Dr. Chiles after a failed back surgery. Dr. Chiles told me he could help me with a spinal fusion surgery, which he successfully performed on me at Lawrence Hospital. He and his staff are very courteous and easy to talk to. Whatever questions you may have, or issues dealing with scheduling, a phone call is all it takes to clear it up. I will say that from the moment I met him, I was confident in Dr. Chiles knowledge and abilities as a surgeon. He explained everything to me fully, and I felt I knew what was happening 100% of the time. I would highly recommend Dr. Chiles to anyone needing his field of services.

I was diagnosed with a large herniation of my c-6 wth c-5 in failure mode. Dr. Chiles came highly recommended - and it was obvious why. He answered all of my questions and his calm, confident, forthright approach instantly put me at ease. His follow-up care after surgery has been unparalleled - it has been very different when compared to the care others receive from different doctors. The ladies who run the office and finance are also wonderful to work with and truly take the stress away.
I would highly recommend Dr Chiles and his office if you are ever faced with the scary need for spinal surgery. I don’t mean to sound sappy - but he truly gave me my life back. My only regret is not having the surgery sooner.

I searched around for quite some time, checking out various doctors and when I found Dr.Chiles, I thought that he was very helpful with explaining things, on how he would complete the surgery and what the recovery would be like after. I am very satisfied with my surgery, I haven't felt this good in almost a year. I am grateful for the time and work he put into making me feel better. Thank you Dr.Chiles. I strongly recommend Dr.Chiles to anyone in need of a surgeon.
