Dr. Bernstein delivered our daughter August 19, 1999, when I was 45 years old. I remember how amazing and so supportive he was. Fyi, my daughter is now a Registered Nurse in Labour and Delivery at Cortellucci Hospital! It's not connected, but life has come full circle in a way.

Dr Bernstein was my OBGYN for two of my children and unfortunately he was retired with our most recent. It was a very different experience. There is no one that can compare to him and his calibre. I didn’t realize how remarkable and amazing Betty was either until I had to navigate this most recent pregnancy with a different doctor at Sinai. I wish Dr B, Betty and Marlene all the best in their retirement.

Dr. Bernstein is simply THE BEST. He delivered my three kids - 1978, 1982 and 1987 - all three deliveries with Theresa the nurse and she was just as wonderful.

I recommended him to my daughter, the daughter that he delivered with humour and compassion in 1986. I learned he was retired, may he enjoy and know he was much appreciated for his skill, and ability to make a difficulty into simplicity.

Hope Dr. Bernstein enjoys his much deserved retirement. He was my gynaecologist for many years as well as my obstetrician -delivering my daughter in 1989 and my son in 1991. I will always be very thankful for his great care, incredible skill, intelligence and compassion towards his patients. His sense of humour greatly helped set his patients at ease. A true professional in his field of the highest caliber. My daughter, son and I will always be forever grateful.

A brilliant doctor who knows what he's talking about. His bedside manner is second to none. He's been my OBGYN my entire life (and I am 70)...can say more wonderful things about him. He's THE BEST!

Delivered both my children and other issues in between. Very hard shoes to fill as they don't make doctors like him anymore. Kind, patient, smart and has hands of a God! Good luck with the next chapter Dr. B. You will be missed!
