My teenage daughter was referred to Dr. Buwembo. Our first visit he was an hour late. He sent her for testing and then had to wait a while for a follow-up appointment. At the follow-up appointment in May we were told that a referral would be sent to a specialist in Saskatoon. A few months later we still hadn't heard anything regarding the referral and I contacted his office. The receptionist was far from helpful. She didn't know at that time if the referral had even been sent.

I've tried to schedule a follow up appointment for my daughter with Dr. Buwembo as her problems are getting worse and was told by the receptionist "that there was nothing more that the doctor could do and to just wait to hear back from Saskatoon". Like when the hell does a receptionist become a doctor.

I took my daughter to our pediatrician hoping to seek some help until she finally gets into Saskatoon. He has been an absolute savior! He tried to contact the Saskatoon office himself & gave me the number when he was unable to. He has checked up on all her test results to make sure there wasn't anything really wrong, and has prescribed meds to reduce her suffering until she finally sees a specialist.

I was finally able to get through to Saskatoon and was notified that the referral had been received, I was given the doctors name that my daughter will be seeing but was told that there may be a bit of a wait to get into to see them. I was relieved to here this knowing that we we would get in eventually and know that we have the help of our pediatrician until this happens.

I contacted Dr. Buwenbo's office after speaking with Saskatoon to see if they were aware that the referral had actually been received and a doctor had been chosen. The receptionist wasn't sure and said that she would check the file and call me back. She called me back a short while later and confirmed that the referral had been sent and gave me the doctors information for Saskatoon. I asked why she hadn't contacted me when this was first received and she had no answer. She is far from helpful.

Dr. Buwembo Was tha best there is he did my husbands Timor in his spinal cord and can’t say enough good we would recommend him to anyone.

Have tried repeatedly to make follow up appointment following back surgery, with no response. Office is always closed for calls. Secretary said she would have Dr. call to answer continuing concerns, but a month later, nothing. Family physician will not address issues unless the surgeon responds. Just another case of disgusting Sask Health care.

I recommend Dr. Buwembo. My shunt surgery turned out real well. He gave me back my life after heading to be confined to a wheelchair. It is now three years since my surgery.

Operated on my husband twice. Claims the surgery is a success.. Husband in constant pain , balance is poor. Our life is spiraling down, can’t travel anywhere. I want out.

His procedure for me was the wrong way. I’m a complete quadriplegic now. I walked before & now I have a full lift over my bed FOREVER!!! His secretary is a half-wit know-it-all ...she wrong as he. They make a great team. He may help some but his track record, I sure wished I’d done more questions.. His excuse “to aggressive to soon”. If only the words “let’s wait till emergency” not “emergent”.... I ’m living a most terrible life in long term care adjusting. Tears are many.

After years of pain and filth from some of The worst doctoring on The planet i had a appointment with dr buwembo .He listen,d to me and after a short talk it took his office less than 24 hrs to call me back with a date for surgery . I dont know of any review of any dr in Saskatchewan saying wow thats quick .Now dont get me wrong having Your skull cut into SUX but if you need to have that done PRAY that you get this guy he can save your life and be a very good person to you .he is what a doctor should be thank-you doctor

After waiting a very long time for an appointment with him it turned out to be a complete waste of time. My physician sent me to him for a tailbone injury yet he ordered a scan without the tailbone? I suffered multiple spinal injuries in a workplace accident which were "Deliberately Denied any investigation> Once WCB gets involved everything / is used to deny any medical investigation. I guess I will need a lawyer because what this doctor has put me through is totally ridiculous. 1 yr after not getting any help whatsoever "Medical Tourism" advised I require "Major Surgery" yet radiologists deliberately FALSIFIED my MRI results. "If you suffer significant injury in Sask on the job "Leave this Province or get repeatedly denied help. Because WCB is CORRUPT and will Deny, Lie, Falsify.... they have these doctors who refuse any investigation or treatment. "It's all about the $$$ they have it aND WON'T HELP YOU.

April 23 2019. Walked into general hospital had laminectomy done to resolve a burning pain in my arm now im a quadriplegic can’t even roll side to side in my bed.... was sent to wascana month after the surgery & got worse. Still hardly functioning see him again 4 months. There are no answers yet as to what happened. I don’t know what to think I’m in so much care right now ...help

Terrible for getting medical forms filled his secatuary says it on his desk and pain meds he will write for u 1 time and then he must make to much see tht his paients are ok very disappointed my disability has been stopped due to him not have the time to look at it and fill it out I have 5 kids and no income now due to him neglecting my medical form and have been in a world of pain since he and his secretary wont b understanding tht I do not have a family doctor and tht no 1 wants to issue my medication for my back pain so very disappointed and like I said he must get paid to much to care about his paitents and if there are getting better or not and so if u don't have s family doctor like I dont ur screwed and now my disability has been stopped due to his neglecting my medical form and with 5 children to feed and buy clothes for and a hurt back no job or income now makes me very disappointed and he dont care if my back is killing me all I hear is bos so
