The worst doctor I have ever met. I had to wait almost 4 hours to get seen for only 6 minutes. Instead of apologizing for the long wait I had, she had the nerve to be arrogant and rude

On 2 separate occasions, I was not notified of abnormal test results, despite my calling and asking for the results and being told "if there's something wrong we wil call." Well there was - but I got a letter ONE MONTH later - both times. No excuse for this. I sent a letter to her telling her what happened - never even got the courtesy of a reply. She may be a good MD but she needs to get the office running properly and attend to test results. That is just as important, if not more, as bedside manner. I switched to another MD who has both and am much much happier. Plus I don't wait 2 hours for a 5 minute checkup.

I loved both Doctors(Claudia and Steven), they helped me and my husband through one of the most difficult surgeries in my life. I had a very complicated hysterectomy, none of my local doctors here on Long Island were willing to perform because I do not take blood. Well, when I first went in and spoke with her I knew I made the right choice. She and her husband definitely knew what they were doing. I only lost very little blood after all was said and done, and my regular doctor could not believe the little blood loss I had. They even were at the hospital in my room with my husband and I at 12:OOam cracking jokes, and were very down to earth. I would still have them now if they were in network with my insurance. The person who said they are only in it for the money is very very sadly mistaken. I think they are the best!

DR. Ravins (Both She and HE)are the Best. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have my daughter. I was trying to get preganant for about a year and it never happened. I decided to go the the Doctor to see if something was wrong with me so I picked up the phone and called my insurance, I asked for the nearest GYN to my home and got her name and number and that was the beginning. The day of my first appointment she told me I had to undergo a minor surgury if not I would not have kids. Miraculously I went through a surgury and got pregnant about 6 months later and now I have a heathly 3 year Girl and a 2 year old Boy. I would never change my Doctors. She helped me alot and she was always attentive and concerned as to how I was doing as well as her husband. They are both Great. Dr. Ravins (the husband) was at both labors. He was fantastic.

Dr. Ravins is a wonderful doctor. I was overweight when I became pregnant. I was about 210 pounds and 5'3. She controlled my diabetes at the end of the pregnancy. She also helped me control & stabalize the baby's water that was too low. I had a ceasarian and she controlled the whole situation. I bought a house in New Jersey and I still travel to NY to see her every six months. She is a great doctor. I would recommend her with any of my baby's life.

Dr Claudia Ravins is one of the best Dr's i have ever had. SHe has helped me and walked me through my PCOS problem. Her husband has even called me back in times she couldn't which was fine. THe wait is long in her office but worth it.

Dr. Ravins is in fact the worst doctor I have ever met. She is only money-oriented, as well as her husband. They don't care about you but your money. I can't believe that there are good comments about them. The office wait is ridiculous. They have no type of professionalism or good bedside manner. They chose the wrong profession, they shouldn't be doctors like these in the world. God help you find another ob/gyn.

Both Dr. Claudia Ravins and Dr. Steven Ravins are the best doctors around. The midwife Janet and the staff members are the best as well. Clean place and you won't wait that long. Dr. Steven Ravins delivered my mom almost 5 months ago. They all have great bedside manners and are just the best!!!!!!!!!!

Not recomendable at all, to many patients on her plate, and her husband is even worst. I gave birth with the intern because he, Mr. Ravins, got tired of my pushing so he said we were going to take a BREAK!!! in the middle of my labor. When my baby was born he was nowhere to be found. I think it was better this way, he was putting to much stress to the issue, most probably he had another woman in Labor in the next room, ha, ha, ha. Now I laugh... There are tons and tons of OB-GYN save yourself the bad moment.

I must be truthful about my experience with Dr. Claudia Ravins. I believe that if you are having an uneventful pregnancy and everything is going to plan then you can go to her. Simply because I feel she can't handle anything else. I had my second miscarriage while under her care and by all means I do not blame her for my miscarriage, it is the treatment I received after that completely shocked me. After the traumatic experience of a d&c she told me that they would get my test results back and would try to let me know the cause. Ok. I waited 3 weeks. I called her office for my results and I couldn't get a response. Finally, I called the office and said that if I didn't hear from her that day I would get another doctor. She called me at my place of business that afternoon and blurted out my results over the phone in the worst most unprofessional tone. I don't allow anyone to treat me like garbage. I like to go to professionals, so I have a new doctor. Good Luck to you all.
