Dr. Claudia Ravins is very knowledgeable in her field and an expert surgeon. She is matter-of-fact and very helpful One feels comfortable and safe with her. This is a group practice, so very often you may be attended by other staff, rather than the doctor herself. And getting an appointment with her is very difficult. The reception staff at her clinic are not the best. They are not informative or polite and you can end up getting a run around.

I have been seeing both Doctors, Claudia and Steven and they are the best. When I had my first child in 2001, both doctors were at my delivery and I felt very lucky that they were both able to deliver my first child. At times the wait was long, but if you want good service, sometimes you have to wait. The assistants were always great and the staff is helpful and pleasant. I would recommend anyone to their office.

I recenly started seeing Dr. Steven Ravins. I am currently expecting my first child and was extremely nervous. For the first four months of my visits things have been great. I only had to wait an hour once because of another patient who was a high risk. I was not upset; I would have wanted him to do the same thing for me. I've read some negative reviews and some positive ones. I hope the rest of my visits would remain positive. So far, things have been great. I cannot say anything negative at all.

the wait at the doctor's office is too long especially with those with small baby. didn't get to see the doctors, and wasn't satisfied with the type of service. not everyone has the same experience, but i can't stop but comparing this office with the one i had before i moved to NY.

i love her! im pregnant with my 3rd child and she was there for my second, she is very understanding to a pregnant womans needs. She is also great as a Gyn Dr. Her staff is very nice as well.

I SAW THE RAVINS @ THEIR OFFICE IN FOREST HILLS. I HAVE READ SOME OF THE COMMENTS, AND AS FAR AS THE NEGATIVE ONES GO, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!! I HAD NO PROBLEM WAITING WHEN I HAD TO TO SEE THEM OR A MEMBER OF THEIR TEAM, IF YOU WANT THE BEST CARE, SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO WAIT. THE ONLY TIME I HAD AN EXTENDED WAIT WAS WHEN DR.STEVEN HAD TO LEAVE FOR A DELIVERY--TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE!! WHEN HE RETURNED HE TOLD ME HOW SORRY HE WAS AND THAT HE WILL DO THE SAME FOR ME IF NECESSARY. THEIR STAFF IS AWESOME, AND REALLY CARES. TO THE PERSON WHO WROTE THAT THEY DIDNT RECIEVE RESULTS OVER THE PHONE, THE REASON IS THAT GIVING RESULTS OVER THE PHONE IS ILLEGAL!!! SHE SHOULD HAVE MADE AN EMERGENCY VISIT IF SHE WAS SO DESPERATE. THATS WHAT I DID WHEN I COULDNT WAIT FOR MY NEXT VISIT FOR RESULTS. THESE ARE EXCELLENT DOCS AND I THANK GOD I FOUND THEM AND I AM GLAD ALL THESE NEG. PATIENTS LEFT THEIR PRACTICE. I ALSO SEE THAT NONE OF THESE PATIENTS HAD THE GUTS WRITE THERE NAMES EITHER.

My doctor was Steven Ravins, and there is nothing bad I can say about my experience with him. I have never met his wife but he is phenominal. My whole pregnancy and even labor were a pleasurable experience thanks to him. He even came in on his day off just to deliver my baby because he promised he would, at the end I needed a csection but he was great at that as well. I would reccommend anyone going to see him. I regret ever choosing them for my prenatal care, If you're high risk go ahead but if your having a low risk pregnancy please consider a midwife or Doctor who doesn't come up with a stupid excuse to try and induce you when it's medically unnecessary. First of all I didn't get to actually meet them until i was 36 weeks. I spent my pregnancy waiting hours at my appointments only to see one of their assistants for like 6 minutes, and when I did meet Steven Ravins he didn't like it when I talked to him about my birth-plan, and at my last visit he said "Oh don't get Mrs Smartie pants on me" when I questioned his wishes to induce me because he suspected my baby was big. The biggest turnoff was that he planned to induce me using Cytotec a drug which is FDA approved for use on stomach ulcers but not approved to induce labor. warnings for this drugs is that it's actually dangerous on pregnant women and can cause uterine rupture, and fetal distress. I chose to go somewhere else

I have been going to see the Drs. Ravins since August 2007. I am currently about 5 weeks pregnant and would not be if it werent for them. They took control of my PCOS and are absolutely wonderful! I have mostly seen Steven, but Claudia is a doll.

Dr. Claudia Ravins and Her husband are both very great doctors. I Love them both. They were very respectful toward me during my pregnecy. They are there for you each step of the way and that is great. I have recommend them to others and there experience with them have been great as well. I have gotten complements from my friends thanking me that i gave them there number. THEY ARE THE GREATEST!!!! LOVE THEM>>>>
