Saw me for 3 separate queries that I had and was done in less then 2 minutes. Have done the drugs prescribed for 3 weeks with NO change in my condition. Overrated.

Words can’t express my gratitude to the wonderful Doctor Barry Lycka and his great medical team. They represented true angles in the midst of my cancer diagnosis. They gave me hope, healing and renewal of life. The highly visible scar from my cancer surgery that was once a constant reminder of a darker time in my life is vanishing and fading before my eyes.

I payed $2300.00 for cool sculpting. No improvements what so ever. So Dr. Lycka
said he would do a lipo-suction at approximately twice the cost. No money back. Sound like a BAIT and SWITCH?? I forfeited the $2300.00. I would not recommend this doctor.

Rude and inappropriate. I paid 200 for my initial consultation for cosmetic work. He was abrasive and refused to
answer my questions. Told me to listen as he explained then walked out leaving me with two clinicians. I was disgusted but took the material. I left thinking I'd never in a million years use his clinic. The four other appointments with others since have been excellent and informative. I was shocked to receive a REGISTERED letter from his office, where he insulted me by saying I would not respond well to cosmetic surgery and that he did not want me for a patient. As if I would ever go to him. My son, an injury lawyer, told me to just let it go, but I am so angry he would do such a malicious thing. My GP was sent a copy of this letter, and now I must request from her legally that she refuse to leave it on my medical record. I will have to respond to it there as well.
Be careful of this type of meglamania if a doctor wont answer your questions and give you all the information you need regarding these expensive procedures.

Dr. Lycka is a very kind, supportive, knowledgeable gentle man. My first appointment was a shock to be told I had a form of skin cancer. Uggg. But with his reassurance that this is treatable all will be ok.
The staff he has is nothing short of amazing. They are all warm and welcoming , u feel comfortable and secure during your visits. U are in great care.

Wasted my time. Wanted me to spend hundreds on treatments when a simple prescription was all that was required. Rip off. Spend not even a minute with me, had no interest in my concerns

I've been seeing Dr. Lycka for several years and have come no further ahead in the treatment of my roseaca despite $2500 spent in laser treatments. My acne has been treated with being on antibiotics for almost 2 years. I've seen another dermatologist and have been told prolonged antibiotic treatment is not only very old school but can have harmful effects with drug resistance bacteria.
Staff are very friendly as is Dr. Lycka but be prepared to have every cream, skin care product and laser treatments peddled. VERY COSTLY

Worse experience I've ever had at a doctors office. Staff weren't not friendly and seemed like they were gossiping about clients that were in the office. Waited over a hour to see a rude doctor I will not be coming back

Was somewhat disappointed with the attention I received from Dr Lycka. Was sent to him by my amazingly thorough family doctor to have some moles checked for cancer. My family doctor felt that because some were irregular in shape and had been growing significantly over the last year that they should be mapped and or biopsied. While he consider them to be low risk, given that I have had skin cancer before, he felt it would better to be safe than sorry.

Dr Lycka looked at the moles on my back for less than 5 seconds and told me they were just normal moles. No questions about why I, or my family doctor, thought there was reason for concern. Told me he has treated 1000s of cases of cancer and my moles were not it. When I told him that the last time I had skin cancer it looked just like a normal mole as well he informed me that my last doctor wasn't a dermatologist so he probably couldn't tell the difference.

Told me to come back in a year as a follow up. As he took no photos or measurements I'm not sure what he is going to compare any change to:

Can't help feeling if I was in there to buy some expensive skin cleanser or moisturizer he would have had more time for me.

Staff were very pleased and helpful. I can't say the same for Dr Lycka.
