Horrible doctor to go to. He has no empathy, likes to mock me, and is negligent. Will never go back to him.

Ruined my life. He FORGOT to file a referral for an assessment for over FOUR MONTHS. by the time he remembered it was too late, i was almost 18, and you cant get free tests for that condition as an adult. If Kopyto actually did his job I would be able to have disability accommodations in school and work, but i never got a diagnosis because he LITERALLY FORGOT.

Also, one time I went in because my throat hurt so bad that I couldn't talk. He just gave me a prescription for something and LEFT THE ROOM. He didn't even tell me what drug he gave me or WHAT ILLNESS I HAD! I specifically came so i could know if it was contagious or not! I had to guess what I had based on the prescription!

Doctor Kopyto needs to change his profession. He has lost his sense of empathy and compassion for his patients. (not that I’ve ever seen any) I’ve never seen a doctor with such a lack of interest for his patients. After dealing with him for years, I’ve finally had enough. Having to call repeatedly and wait days for refills on my prescriptions have become unbearable. He takes his sweet time to respond to your calls but makes you sign a paper saying you can’t go to a clinic for treatment. This is not professional, not to mention cruel. I will be looking for another doctor. His disrespect and ignorance when attending to his patients makes him intolerable as a physician. Time to retire sir!

Do not see this doctor ever. He screwed me over telling my insurance company I was fine when I clearly was unable to work. He has no bedside manner and acts with an extreme air of superiority. He looked down on my mental health issues and is unbearable. A complete and total hack.

Called Monday morning on behalf of a family member taken acutely ill with a currently undiagnosed cause-- with two weekend ER visits for pain-- who has had Dr. Kopyto as her doctor for several years.
My family was floored with the lack of response... After three calls today for assistance -- my relative is at a 10/10 on the pain scale and cannot get out of bed -- finally at 4:30 the receptionist called back and said "he says keep on the pain medication." !!!

Never experienced anything like this in my life from a medical professional. When you have the power to help others' suffering and have taken on the professional role to help other humans, this is egregious.

I was sent to Dr. Kopyto by my insurer for assessment following a car accident, in which I suffered a severe whiplash injury. After numerous tests including a neurological test for balance he observed that my balance was impaired and noted same on his assessment.
When he wrote his final opinion to my insurer, he ignored his neurological findings and wrote "I was able to resume a normal life from a musculoskeletal perspective" thereby giving my insurer the ability to deny benefits.
It is now over one year since the accident, and although he also wrote there was no need for further medical investigation I have seen some specialists who have diagnosed my injury as PPPD, which not only impairs my balance, but causes dizziness all day and every day for over a year with no relief, thereby preventing my normal activities, and after some bad falls, force me to use a walker.
I realize Dr. Kopyto was assessing me for my insurer but thought that doctors doing assessments for insurers would stand by the same code of ethics as most doctors do, and not present a favorable report to their customer allowing them to deny benefits

He needs his license revoked. Hes been my doctor since childhood and continuously lets me withdraw from medications that should NOT be cut cold-turkey. He is incompetent, has no social skills and clearly has no skills since he asks what he should do about your issues. How is this man capable of practicing? I would leave if there were more doctors accepting patients right now

Terrible family doctor. Will let you withdrawal from medications for weeks before he sends a refill. You have to advocate for yourself otherwise you’ll get prescribed a random medication with no tests or referrals. He does not care about his patients.
