I am confused by the negative ratings Dr. Logan has received. He has been our family Dr. for many years. He is thorough, thoughtful and has treated us many times. Referrals are handled efficiently and follow through is great. He stays current in his medical knowledge and we trust him completely. I do agree with an earlier rating that office visits are made even more pleasant when one of his daughters is working as the receptionist.

Some of Dr. Logan's advice relating to Diabetes seems to contradict the advice I have been given by other doctors and that I have found on reputable (American and Canadian Diabetes Associations)websites.

If there were any available Doctor's in Calgary, I would find a new one rather than use Dr. Logan. My experiences with him have been very, very disappointing.

-With regards to a ganglion in my wrist... his recommendation was to drop a heavy book on it.

Found him less than respectful, skirted around the questions asked and used my husband as guinee pig for servral different prescriptions that did nothing to aid the problems

I originally thought he was good as he seemed knowledgable & spent a good deal of time with me during each appointment. After seeing him for over a year, he told me that a high risk drug (as per senior pharmacist at my pharmacy) was perfectly safe and I started to question his treatment and prescriptions. He was NOT receptive to questions or concerns. During my last visit, I told him the symptoms that were bothering me and he was visibly frustrated when he asked about other symptoms and I didn't have them. He told me I had seasonal depression, come back in 6 weeks. I disagreed and went for a second opinion with a diff doctor who physically examined me (which Logan rarely will do - he glances), and was diagnosed with a life threatening PHYSICAL condition, in surgery within 3 days. I trusted Logan with my life, and almost died for it. Be wary, ask questions, do not take everything this man says as truth because, frankly, he'll say anything to get you out the door.

The best Family Dr. I've had in awhile. Even under the pressure of the lack of Dr.s in this Province. He's very good, and thorough. He listens to you, and has time for you. I found a good one, and I hope he doesn't go anywhere anytime soon. Great Receptionist's too!

Dr Logan is an excellent family physician and would, and have, recommended him to family and friends. He is very up to date in his knowledge and listens to his patients. He advocates healthy living and is always encouraging his patients to exercise and keep fit. He is a reall asset to the medical profession.

Amazing Doctor, caters to almost any request. I am a young athletic guy always getting injured, so it's extra convenient to have the Radiology lab right next door. I have personally never left his office unsatisfied. If I was concerned about something when I walked in, I am secure and confident when I walk out. He's never given me a wrong diagnoses, which is nice after some past experiences. I put all my faith in his professional ability.

Knows his stuff, I can be a challenging patient for him! Very clinical but would not accept anything else, after all it his profession! You may find that he doesn't listen but actually he is way ahead of you.
