Dr. Logan has been my doctor for several years. I am forced to stay with him because of the doctor shortage in Calgary. He has never offered to examine me or give me a papsmear. I have to ask him and he always seems uncomfortable with the procedure. He is rude to me and I have often left his office feeling stupid and belittled. I have even found myself crying because he has been so abrupt and rude.

Dr Logan really needs to get better day staff. It takes too long for a phone call to be answered and you can not leave a message. It is a better experience when he works nights. As for Dr Logan, I think he streaches at diagnoises and often does not remember what he is talking about. He tends to prescribe a lot of medicine. Often the medicines are no longer. Im think he feels he knows more then what he does. Often Specialist should be used, but he refuses to pass you a long. I am definately looking for a new Doctor.

My first meeting with Dr. Logan involved a concern regarding a personal issue that was embarrassing and involved my need to strip naked. He did not look overly pleased that he had to check me out. When I asked for a referral to a specialist, he told me that I didn't need one. He told me to adjust some dietary issues and that should solve my problem. After subsequent visits and attempts to adjust dietary issues my problem remained and his response was "well I can put you on a wait list by it's a 2 year wait". As an adult male there is no wonder men see no point in going to the doctor. Completely useless.

Dr. Logan is our family doctor. We love him. But of course, there are days when we have to wait for almost an hour even with an appointment. He is very patient with everyone so sometimes it takes him longer to move from one patient to another. We are very lucky to have him as a family doctor.

I've been with Dr. Logan for 3 years. He only dissapointed me once by refusing to order an MRI on my knee or refering me to a specialist, twice! My physio sent me to their sports injury specialist who ordered an MRI. I had a torn ACL. Surgery followed. Other than this instance Dr. Logan has been excellent.

I am with Dr. Logan for about 2 years. He always helped with advice, medication and/or correcting medication if required. It never was a problem to get a prescription to see a specialist or to go to the Lab for a test. He is knowledgeable across a wide range of health problems. He also is willing to discuss the situation to find the best solution possible.

Three problems: 1 - Dr Logan refused to set up an OB/GYN appt for me in anticipation of my pregnancy. Now that I'm pregnant, the OB/GYN I want to go to can't take me 'til fall so they won't take me at all. If he'd just started the referral process when I'd first asked, I would have had no trouble getting an appt. 2 - I had to ask three times (and bring my husband with me the third time) in order to get him to send me to the Diabetes in Pregnancy clinic (which is where all Diabetics should go prior to getting pregnant - they are fabulous!) He took me more seriously when my husband was with me. 3 - I've been talking to him about getting ready to get pregnant for about 8 months now, and he's never mentioned taking prenatal vitamins. He thinks diabetic meds (not insulin) are best during pregnancy (not proven to be true).

Very disappointed in first visit, but thought I would give him a second try, even more disappointed. Firstly, he didn't even ask me to to undress for a physical exam, where I would have expected to have a breast exam and pap test. I had to go elsewhere to a women's clinic for the pap. When he called me back to discuss abnormal results of that pap test, he treated me poorly and didn't seem to able to articulate what the results actually meant; just told me to have the test redone in 6 months and not to worry about it. He said "no amount of worry ever cured cancer"! I was flabbergasted to even hear that word without proper explanation and immediately went back to the women's clinic where I received a thorough and compassionate explanation of the results. I will not return to Dr. Logn nor would I recommend him to anyone expecting to receive compassionate care. He is abrasive and insulting.

Dr Logan is a very knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate doctor. He also has no hesitation with referring you to a specialist and or ordering test and the follow up is great.

Dr. Logan is a very good doctor. He is up to date on the current medical research and has very well informed answers for whatever questions I ask. He is very dedicated, and will spend as much time with me as I need. My only problem with his office is the service of a few of the receptionists. However, when his daughters are working, the visit is always more pleasant.
