I have been seeing Dr Ocana for the past year and a half and I really enjoy how effective, professional and very educated on the subject he is. I trust his way of doing medicine and appreciate is straight forward manners. It works very well for me. Anthony has helped me change my life for the better, by narrowing down my ADD and suggested medicine as a tool to help me focus better. He never said medicine was going to do all the work. I finally reached the mental level I knew I had, but wasn't able to reach alone. Now I am on the right path for my dream career. For those who are worrying about the side effects and dosing, let me add this: I monitor everything and every time I see him I give him an update. If you don't monitor anything, then you will never find the right dose. You can't expect him to find it for you. It is very important to know yourself, then you can expect him change your life.

This doctor started off with a very transparent charm that worked on my family but had the stench of used car sales man all over it. He was extremely arrogant and seems to have some sort of intellectual Napoleon complex. Any insight I had in to my own diagnosis was shrugged off and dismissed as if I couldn't possibly help to analyze my own symptoms. He over-prescribed my medication which had me going down a suicidal and paranoid spiral. Neither of which were my symptoms to begin with. My final meetings with him were completely disrespectful on his behalf. I feel as if he has caused major damage and my advice to anyone who is thinking of seeing him is to run the other way. He told me stories of how his father before him was also a doctor and would buy a new car every summer, complaining about how little he gets paid and how the money should be better. He is not in it to help people. He doesn't care about your well being. P.S. All the good ratings are written by him.

Dr. Ocana has been helping me with my adult ADHD over the past two years. After numerous medications/ dosages and frustrating days and nights, we finally hit the jackpot! I am presently taking 150mg. of Lamictal and 60mg. of Vyvanse. I would recommend one keep a daily journal of how they are feeling and evaluate every 2 or 3 weeks, you can dial in a dosage just right. Although it may seem hopeless, without a light at the end of the tunnel however, it will be worth the wait in the long run. I would also recommend trying Vyvanse for those who get the jitters or that 'funky' feeling from other ADHDS medications.

Dr. Ocana took my life on a new path after diagnosing me with ADHD. I didn't understand how people could hold a conversation and to sit still and listen when I couldn't stop moving my leg & would find myself "zoning" in and out of conversations distracted by a bird or plane etc... I was unable to focus 95% of the time and the other 5% I was hyper-focused then left drained. Impulse control, depression etc. He made me see that treatment for ADHD is just like treatment for someone with bad eyesight; no eye doc would say "try harder to see"...they'd give u glasses. I can't focus like most due to a chemical imbalance in my brain so I was prescribed Adderall. It is not a magic pill that takes away all my problems but instead gives me the tools and ability to deal with them. I was worried meds would change me but friends & family assured me when I'm medicated properly, I am just a more controlled version of myself & feeling more in control of my words & actions makes me happier too.

Dr. Ocana over-medicates and over-charges his patients, I felt rushed and like an inconvenience...his focus appears to be more on the chemical cocktails he prescribes, rather than its affect on the patient. Having been prescribed a number of medications, at very high doses (which can be lethal), no one ever followed up with me to see if I needed more or less, or even to check in.

I would like to thank Dr. Ocana for taking my request for remote consultation and treatment. I live on Gran Canaria island (in Spain) near the northwest coast of Africa. I felt frustrated and hopeless about not finding help near where I live up until I was put in contact with Dr Ocana through a friend from Vancouver. As a neurological condition, Adult ADD is still considered to be a myth and it is a less developed area in European Medicine. I am 33 years old and I have struggled with anxiety, fear and distraction, I’d say through all my life. I am currently on due ADHD medication and also taking an antidepressant. I give credit to Dr Ocana for an accurate diagnosis and a successful treatment plan which has slowly but firmly changed my day to day as I become more confident, efficient and reassured with myself. Dr Ocana was very patient and thorough with me and I have always felt looked after. If anyone outside the United States or Canada needs a professional to speak to you can contact Dr Ocana’s office.

This is the best doctor I have seen in over 20 years. He is fair, he listens to your problem and will work with you for a personal solution. Unlike other doctors I have seen before, he cares about having a balance between a patient who has to take medication. I trust this doctor with my life. Any complaints I have had about treatment elsewhere is received in an understanding and respectful manner. He is honest and willing to negotiate with the patient which I find has not been the case with previous doctors. I highly recommend this doctor. He restores my faith in the healthcare system.
