I have been a personal injury attorney for twenty-three(23) years, so I have dealt with and know of countless Orthopedic Surgeons and Sports Medicine Doctors. When I was involved in an accident and injured my leg, Dr. Krinick was the one that I went to see. I found him and his office to be courteous, professional, helpful, and prompt. I would and in fact have, recommended Dr. Krinick without reservation.

I read the reviews in successful surgeries done. I am a patient for 25 years. I raced skiing on college and tore my ACL during those years. For 25 years I have been treated many times for ski and sports injuries. Each time Dr Krinick recommended no surgery and I recovered. That is a great surgeon who does what is best for the patient. He is the go to guy for my friends and family

I am a police officer and had an injury that I was told was career ending by several doctors, Dr Krinick reviewed all of my records and showed me my MRI scans with explanation. I was very scared at the time. Well I am not only back but was given an award for heroic duties in apprehending a felon. I have recommended him to many friends and fellow officers. They all thank me for the referral. Great guy. Really down to earth

It's difficult to distill this down to the important facts, but I'll try. Staff is terrible. Every single visit they forgot something: a script for PT, a referral for a scan, a script for anti-inflammatory meds, or info that I was supposed to get. The wait for all three visits was just ridiculous - hours and hours past my appointment time. I stressed how painful some areas were several times between PT and additionally when surgery was recommended. However, post-operation these same comments seemed like revelations to him, as if he went solely from a 20 second glance at an MRI. Krinick seems to know a lot about joints, but maybe he's been doing it too long and has stopped caring or taking the time to really listen. I'm sorry I went through all of this and wouldn't recommend him.

He told me I would be able to go to work right away after my surgery, so I scheduled it for a Friday but was in tons of pain on Monday and ended up going to work with ice packs and pain killers. Had he been honest I would have waited to have the surgery at a less busy time of work. The worst is the wait. I went back to have one of his associates in the office look at my knee again because it still hurt and waited over 2 1/2 hours in the waiting room with a loud television on before I finally left. I have not been back since. (He no longer takes Oxford.)

Operated on my knee and never reviewed the MRI films. There was a cyst and a 2nd tear in my meniscus that he didn't remove. Within one month after surgery I couldn't walk again and was in extreme pain. I went back when I noticed a large lump growing out the side of my knee, and he sent me for another MRI which came back indicating the cyst, etc. He said he never saw it - but the information about the cyst and tear were on the first radiology report he reviewed to recommend the surgery. I left his office immediately when he said 'he never saw it', if he had simply reviewed the radiology report he wold have known it was there (heck - even I knew there were two tears and a cyst because I read the radiology report). I would advise you stay away.
