I had a hysterectomy and 7 weeks later, i was told my post op check would now be pushed back another month and a half but go ahead and have intercourse, (even though it was expressly a huge no no prior to this over the phone conversation ).

Dr. Orr's staff is the best!!! They are amazingly compassionate and thoughtful. Dr. Orr himself is NOT. He is arrogant, doesn't respond to patient needs in a timely manner. My Mom told nurses while at chemo she was having pain that reached a "12" on a scale of 1-10. I immediately call his office for pain meds. (at 10:30 AM on a Wednesday. He took until 10:30 AM on FRIDAY - 48 HOURS to get a prescription ready, because "He doesn't deal with pain meds" ! What an IDIOT! If he didn't want to deal with it, he should write 1 Rx and refer us to a pain management Dr. I would like to stand on his legs in stiletto heals for 2 days and give him the same response. I wish him Everything he deserves to treat a patient like that!!! Always at least a 45 min to 1 hour wait in his waiting room then another 20-30 in the room.

Cancer is such a scary thing and Dr. Orr truly cares for his patients. I was so impressed with his office staff and DR Orr himself. He took so much time with my husband and I. I am so happy to say I am cancer free at this time, after a complete hysterectomy. I would recommend Dr Orr to anyone. Superb bedside manner which is so important to me. He is just the best.

Well I was not an easy case. Did total hysterectomy, which great by way, but I went surgery with very little blood and Idon't take blood tranfusions and he was careful I lived, Isuffer severe panic disorder/ agoraphbia. He went with me all he could. Conferenced and let psychiatrist tell him how much meds and he ordered. He has a God complex but you know I really don't care as long as he has the medical skills he does. Not happy with hospital though. They ignored his orders. Luck Ihad my own meds with me. My husband held while in surgery. Husband died 8 weeks ago of lung cancer and now I am facing major surgeries alone. But Dr. Orr is good, won't take chances with your life.

Dr. Orr has performed surgery on me on two different occassion. Approx. 10 years apart. He is wonderful, very knowledgeable and very caring. I have always driven over 2 hrs. so that he can be my doctor. Other doctors were not able to help me, but Dr. Orr was. He honestly is the best doctor. His nurse, Sherry, and the rest of his staff obviously love their jobs. They treat you as if you were their loved ones. I can not thank him enough. I recommend him to all of my friends.. And I tell them that he is well worth the drive..

Dr. Orr was my mom's surgeon for stage III ovarian cancer in 1987. She's a 20+ year survivor! And to us, he deserves much of the credit!
