Doug removed my papillary thyroid cancer when I was 22. He was so reassuring the whole time. Told me I’m gonna let you keep some of that thryroid if I can. I don’t want you on TSH your whole life. Also told me I’ll have the best incision scar. Sure enough he followed thru on his word. 7 years later and I still have my half thyroid, no pills and I get compliments on my thyroid scar from MDs all the time. Can thank you enough Doug.

The staff do nothing extra. They do their job at the minimum. Angel is Good.

I stated my symptoms to Dr. Doug Angel each time I visited him but the only test that was done was a hearing test. On my last visit, I had another hearing test, came back with my results and sat in the waiting room, waiting to be called in . One of the staff members came and asked me who I was waiting for. I told her Dr. Angel. She went looking for him and came back saying he must be gone for the day. Apparently the staff was also unaware the Dr. Angel had left the office. Staff said they would get him to call me in the morning to go over my results, but that call did not come. This behaviour is utterly unprofessional and inexcusable. I will be looking for a referral from my doctor to see a different ENT specialist.

Today was the first time seeing Dr. Angel. Been feeling dizzy and off balance for months. Dr. Angel knew the problem and solved it in minutes. Dr. Angel was very professional along with the receptionist!!

Dr Angel is a wonder doctor. He was very prompt in doing biopsy’s on my throat and getting an diagnosis. He then was very fast at getting into see the appropriate specialist! He is overall a lovely doctor!

I have had several appointments with Dr. Doug Angel reference a thyroid nodule. I have had 2 biopsies. He has explained all the info that is required and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. He does not waste time during the appointment and he and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Will definitely continue to visit him.

I must be seeing a different Dr Angel by reading the reviews. He is very rushed my yearly appointment with him is from 2-3 minutes at the hospital clinic. Dr Smith did my surgery 2013 he was an older person but was very thorough. Dr Angel actions are similar to an assembly line.
He says will send info back to family doctor for other issues but never does he follow through with that. It really is a waste of time for a 3 hour drive for a 2-3 minutes he has for the patient. He sure isn't anywhere near Dr Tom Smith or Dr Savoury.

Dr Angel is great and assisted me many times. He does rush you out of the room.
