Is everybody kidding me? Worst ENT I ever encountered. My son has autism and has been having ear issues for years. With the great Canadian health care system we were waiting months and months to see the doctor and the first thing he said to us is "Not you again?". My wife and I just went home and cried knowing it is on us to deal with the ear issues ourselves. He is proof that some doctors go in it for the money. I am actually surprised his head could fit though the door. He thinks more highly of himself than anyone else. Dr. Cavanaugh should realize that there are thousands and thousands of people with medical doctrines. I would never see this man again, thinks highly of himself but yet was as useless as they come. We had to go to the NS to see an ENT and it was like night and day. He actually sat down and explained things to us compared to Dr. Cavanaugh not having the time to see us. I imagine how we felt for every other appointment knowing he was always thinking "Not you again"? And this was over many years. Well guess what, yes us again because you fixed nothing. Zero respect for this money grabbing doctor that thinks his doctrine puts him above the rest of us. But he doesn't have to worry about my son anymore because we switched ENTs which is likely what he wanted all along. Next time you walk into a doctors office think of how we were greeted, "Not you again?. He should be ashamed. He liked to blame all this on the Autism because he was clueless and would never admit that because he is so proud of himself. I picture this guy has himself surrounded by his own pictures at home. If you want a doctor that thinks highly of himself then you are on the tight track. If you are looking for disappointment then see this doctor.

Dr Cavanaugh is by far the best ENT I have ever had.
I have seen many ENT over the years from BC to NL
If it wasn’t for Dr Cavanaugh I wouldn’t be here today!
He saved my life last year with emergency surgery on my ear. I would highly recommend Dr Cavanaugh to everyone.

I visited Dr. Cavanaugh today for my sinus issues. Among all the ENTs I've consulted (in and out of province), he stands out as the best. He adjusted my allergy medication and proposed careful monitoring before considering surgery. Despite the medical backlog affecting some doctors' performance, Dr. Cavanaugh was both professional and caring. The consultation was brief, yet it never felt hurried. I'd 100% recommend him.

He is kind, great with kids and parents.
My son had a bad ear infection and he told me if he kept having them to phone in and we could be seen. We got in the next day and had tubes in 2 weeks later as there was a cancellation.
I have never felt rushed or unheard. He is a great E.N.T

Great doctor. Said he would see my daughter sooner than her next scheduled appointment if needed, called with an issue and saw him the next day! Very friendly and knowledgeable and great with children. So happy with him as my daughter's surgeron.
