Dr Angel is great and assisted me many times. He does rush you out of the room.

Dr.Doug Angel is very cocky & arrogant...He may have knowledge but his bedside manner is terrible....He makes light of everything ..you tell him something & he always tops it with his story....hate to see him a few years time....hopefully by them he will have matured & realize he is just a simple man like all others.

I was referred to Dr. Angel for severe tinnitus following a major car accident. I’m young and otherwise healthy and have never had issues with this before.

The clinic itself is phenomenal, the staff are very prompt, courteous and all the testing was done by the clinic staff quickly and efficiently. At the end of the testing which took a couple of hours, I waited in a hallway full of people who were all waiting to see the same guy. I was seen fairly quickly, but my experience was not positive. He looked in each ear, reviewed my results from the tests that were just completed, and proceeded to tell me that my hearing is perfect, my ears are pristine and there’s nothing wrong. When I explained the tinnitus and how unusual and deafening it was, he basically told me that 80% of people have it and to live with it. This is absolutely unacceptable to tell a healthy 25 year old who has sudden and deafening tinnitus. His knowledge surrounding this problem is lacking, and I can see now that I’m not the only person with this experience with him. ENTs should have full knowledge of post-concussion syndrome, which ended up being discovered by a physiotherapist - NOT a specialist or neurologist.

I should also mention that he was talking super fast and seemed to be in a giant rush to get me out of the room, I was in there for all of 5 minutes before he was telling me I was fine and tried to send me on my way. I guess he just wants to see as many patients as possible to make as much money as he can.

This Angel literally saved my life. I had my tonsils removed and after a week I woke up bleeding from my throat. The first time the ER doctor was able to stop the bleeding with some gauze, but the next night it happened again and I was rushed back to the ER and he literally looked like the most handsome, perfect Angel with the other shining on him as he burst through the doors (I totally swooned LOL). Pressure and gauze wouldn't work, but he was about to cauterize the tear and finally stopped the bleeding. Couldn't have asked for a better doctor in that moment, he really helped put me at ease and made the whole terrifying process much easier to go through.

So happy I have Dr. Angel as my surgeon/oncologist. He did an excellent job with my surgery two years ago and checkups thereafter have always been very thorough. He makes time for you and no questions are left unanswered.

Couldn’t be happier with my Pleomorphic Adenoma surgery this past Friday (2 days ago) . I had a huge tumor removed , he was able to do it all through my mouth with no external cuts. Obviously I’m still on the mend but he is a great surgeon and great fella to deal with. Newfoundland very lucky to have such a young talented surgeon

Never mention the word "tinnitus" to an ENT. They just shake their head, look at you and say "it's tinnitus, learn to live with it". Never mind the headaches, ear fullness, jaw aches, stiff neck and perfect hearing. And the fact that I have no ringing when I wake up in the morning...just say the word "tinnitus" and they give up on you. Frustrating!

Dr. Angel is an excellent physician. He has looked after many members of our family. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and patient. He has absolutely wonderful bedside manner and we are blessed to have him in this province.
