Dr. Yu is Amazing! He is highly skilled and knowledgeable about the treatment options for uterine fibroids. He presented the option for me to have a laparoscopic myomectomy instead of the traditional hysterectomy that was presented to me by my regular OB/GYN. As a result of this less invasive option I had a very quick recovery with minimal pain and was able to return to work in 2 weeks. Dr. Yu is very caring and patient. He takes the time to explain the procedure and answer all your questions. His staff is also very professional and helpful! I highly recommend any woman who is dealing with fibroid issues to consult with him to explore the treatment options that are available. It has been a month since I had the procedure and I am feeling great! I am so happy that I decided to get a second opinion and all my friends/family are amazed at how fast I recovered. Dr. Yu is the BEST!!!! So grateful for his care and expert removal of my fibroids!!! I was incredibly nervous about the laproscopic myoectomy but with his care, knowledge, his team, I was at ease
and comforted before, during and after my procedure. I have recommended Dr. Yu to family and friends and definitely recommend to anyone troubled with their fibroids.

I am pretty critical and rarely post on other's behalf but I agree full heartedly with others positive comments. After going in for a some what complicated procedure, I couldn't be happier with the knowledge, bedside manner and speed of response. He is not overbooked like many doctors and you feel like you are their (the entire staff's) only patient. He and his staff are wonderful and I would not hesitate to recommend to others. I would mention that his current address is on 10th as of 4/2015 and not on 16th street :)

My experience with Dr. Yu was fantastic. I felt confident in his care because of his extensive knowledge in lapersocpy fibroid removal. In addition, he demonstrated professionalism, compassion and caring in his interactions with me. On the day of surgery Dr. Yu was wonderful in dealing with my family. I went to Dr Yu for a second opinion and I am very grateful that I did. He took the time to explain many things that my regular OBGYN did not. He had very current and up to date medical knowledge and shared it in terms I could easily understand. His bedside manner is impeccable and he has a very calming demeanor. Dr. Yu helped me through a very difficult medical situation by going above and beyond to fit me into his surgical schedule on short notice. This happened not just once, but twice within a one month period. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate and takes the time to talk to his patients and make them feel at ease. He always makes me feel there is hope for me and takes the time to make sure I not only feel well physically but also mentally. Not many doctors take the time to do this.
