In my opinion, this Doctor has only chosen to practice only for the money! I had been having knee issues and when I booked the appointment with the receptionist 2 weeks prior and had indicated that. When I went in for my appointment, the lady at the front desk asked if I was there for a "Meet and Greet". I indicated that I was not there for a"Meet and Greet" but to get my knee looked at. After waiting for about 20 minutes in the waiting room, my name was called and was taken to a room where again the nurse/clerk had asked if I was there for a "Meet and Greet". I again immediately answered "No but that the reason I was there was because I needed to have my knee looked at by the Doctor. It did not take much longer for the Dr. Tomi to come in who seemed to know who I was since my husband had been going to him for some time and they had discussed that I had made an appointment to see him. I advised him at that time that I had been having trouble with my knee but he totally ignored me and started asking questions concerning my previous health issues... of which I have had none. I do understand that this history is necessary. He then suggested that he wanted to order blood work and that a pap smear was probably not necessary at this time????. After the 6 minutes it took him to ask me a few medical questions, he advised that only 10 minutes was allotted for the appointment and he would not have time to look at my knee. I told him that I was extremely disappointed and that I had driven an hour to see him that day and indicated to him when he first walked in the door the reason for my visit. His only response was that he noticed that I was a bit upset but that he would really like to order blood work and perform a physical at the next appointment and that I probably would not need a pap smear!! This appointment was a complete waste of time! Perhaps if my "v" was attached to my knee, I may have got my knee looked at. I promptly left his office advising that I will never be back to see him and that I was heading to a Medi Clinic so that I could get someone to look at my knee. He then asked if he should still order the blood work, I couldn't believe it !! Now I know why our Medicare system is costing tax payers so much money when you have Doctors like Tomi Sorola that are practicing! The Medicare system would be paying Sorola every time he gets a patient to walk through the door. I have rated his practice as 1 star but if there was a negative star, I would have chosen that!
