Dr Bailey seemed at first contact caring and insightful.I had an initial consulation of 90 minutes for $250 that was described as fact finding. Dr Bailey gave the impression that an ongoing therapeutic relationship was agreeable subject to my judgement at the second consultation. A second appointment was made.Four days later Dr Bailey emailed me and said there would be no further consultations.I was stunned. There had been no indication that her offer of therapy was subject to review over the weekend nor did there seem to be any acknowledgement of how I might feel about such rejection.Dr. Bailey knew my father had disappeared from my life at three years of age.Dr. Bailey argues that my intimate (sexual)?) life is of such significance to me that I would be better with a male therapist. This seems to imply she is uncomfortable discussing a person's intimate life if it is significant to them.Is this for real in a post Freudian age? Dr.Bailey may be comfortable with your mainstream middle class woman but I would caution males a $250 consultation is subject to review by the psychologist that may lead to termination.

Bronwen is always courteous and considerate in her dealings with me. When offering advice and guidance she is knowledgeable and helpful. I couldn't rate her higher for professional conduct.

My experience of Bronwen as a professional, is as a supportive and compassionate person. At times she may appear firm, but that shows that she is decent and she will always do the right thing. I strongly commend her to anyone who needs psychological help.

I have been utilising Bronwen's services for over 2 years and have found her to be warm, trustworthy, respectful, knowledgable and helpful. I find the consistent and reliable appointments work well for me and her personal approach suitable and effective for my needs. Overall it has been an extremely valuable and rewarding experience. One of the best investments of my time and money I have ever made.
