I certainly left feeling uncared for and wondering why I was referred. This outcome was financially and emotionally draining. I wouldn’t consult her again but I’m pleased she has assisted others.
Re Ann’s knowledge I have no idea but it sounds good on paper. If she feels empathy she certainly doesn’t show it. A simple counselling course may help her.

Medical gaslighting at its finest. Simply put, Ann McCormack does not care about her patients. Not only did she not seem to know much at all about her discipline, she was argumentative and almost insulted that a patient had done medical research about their own symptoms. Imagine being concerned with your symptoms, researching to see if you need a medical opinion, seeking that medical opinion only to be treated like a hypochondriac...despite pathology proving you are not.

She will send you for tests every 6 months, only to argue with the reference ranges provided by the lab if your results are abnormal (more medical gaslighting). She will then send you to repeat the same test with the reference range she disagrees with. Set up to fail, milked for money and treatment refused/delayed to ensure you come back. If you get one normal test amidst the many many abnormal ones she will jump on this to dismiss you and tell you the other abnormal ones were incorrect and on your way you go.

Medical opinion aside, her bedside manner is atrocious. Fat shaming, condescending, accuses patients of "sneak eating" or being unaware of how much they are eating. As an endocrinologist, she of all specialists should understand rogue hormones and weight gain.

Disappointing is an understatement when describing how this doctor behaves.

Professor McCormack’s intervention has prolonged my quality of life / life. Strongly recommend you see her and her multidisciplinary team for pituitary tumours. Her team is the best possible team there is!!!

My relative went to see Ann and her experience was traumatic . This doctor is rude, uncaring and dismissive and only out to make as much money as possible. She couldn't care less and she body shamed my relative. Do not waste your time and money. She's nasty

I can’t recommend Anne enough. Not sure what the whingers below are talking about. I have a very complex endocrine condition, and she’s been the only endocrinologist that has actually listened and thought outside the box. She’s truely fabulous.

My consultation seemed hurried, and my medical information was scribbled on a note pad that was covered in other notes, not related to me
I was appalled that to receive my results I had to pay $180!!! I’d already paid $400, results should be included!! To top it off, I received a call from a ‘Naomi ‘ to book my follow up appointment for a year’s time!!! Disgraceful.

Very dissapointing, this Dr either knows very little about her specialty or has little interest in doing her job. Everything discussed with her she either said " i dont know or i dont know much about that" basic endocrine information she claims.not to onow or be familiar with, a gp would do a better job and would have less of an attitude, she is a rude and unhelpfull person with a bad attitutude. Do not recommend at all!

A huge thank you to Dr McCormack for her professionalism but above all care of us and our son. Her persistence and knowledge and communication is fabulous and we can't recommend her enough.
