Found her very unsympathetic and very expensive. I waited 2 months to see her for an initial consultation and it cost $500.

Is obviously on a kickback as I got pushed to stomach surgery also. I found her neglectful and disinterested. I would not recommend her. .

I have been a patient of Dr Ann McCormack for nearly 7 yrs. I have a complex pituitary disorder along with severe arthritis, a profound hearing loss and I’m also overweight. Dr McCormack has always been very understanding, willing to listen and flexible. In past 6 months I’ve been hospitalised with two serious conditions- a hip fracture and a pulmonary embolism. Dr McCormack has provided professional input to my other specialists into the management of my cortisone replacement, and her input was incredibly invaluable. I was very grateful that Dr McCormack was available to do this, she’s always responsive to my other health issues. And her staff are very good ( at Northern Sydney Endocrine Centre).

Her staff at the reception was unhelpful. Cancelled my appointment and told me there was nothing she could do. I flew in out of the country to get my tests done and to see her the following week. Imagine my horror.

Dr Ann McCormack is a very friendly and knowledgeable practitioner. Out of all the specialists I see for my complex condition, she is my favourite and I look forward to appointments with her. She always returns calls and conduct herself with utmost professionalism. I wish all my doctors were as good as her.

I found Dr Ann McCormack to be very thorough and extremely knowledgable. I went to her with a thyroid condition and I was very impressed with the help she gave me and also the surgeon she referred to. For years Dr's had been telling me I had Graves disease, it was a toxic thyroid I had which had done a lot of damage to my body over the years, Dr McCormack diagonised correctly and wasted no time in ensuring appropriate treatment was received.

Insisted on discussing bariatric surgery and weight loss, despite my explaining I had done my own research and would not agree to the surgery, and visiting her for crippling exhaustion, meaning I could not even cook a meal, let alone menu plan, count calories and exercise. Dismissive and unhelpful.
