Unfortunately, I do not think Dr. Huo has the right attitude to be a family doctor. She may be good in her field but her people skills are nothing but terrible.

After rescheduling 3 times of my introduction calls with her last year, she called me an alcoholic in our meet and greet after finding out I take 1-2 drinks in social gatherings. I have been very careful of my alcohol consumption and only take 1-2 drinks at parties which only happens every 2-3 months for me.

Also, after finding out I am from China, she commented on my English skills in our intro calls and told me she doesn't do what the other doctor does in China. I understand she is trying to explain how it works but she could've said it in many other ways but she chose to say it in a condescending tone.

A family doctor mainly refers us to specialists and luckily I see many other family doctors are accepting new patients. I do not recommend her and I think it is a waste of time to deal with her.

Seeing a doctor is not a family chat, so efficiency is very important, and I think Dr. Huo did that. If there is indeed an abnormality in your body, she will refer you to all the specialists she thinks can help you, as well as do all the tests you need to have done. Dr. Huo is the best!

Dr. Huo's staff are always on top of what they need to do. Every time I go visit, they weigh and measure me and take my blood pressure. Dr. Huo is pretty punctual for all the times that I've seen her, she would be within 5-10 minutes of appointment time. She has helped me see the specialists that she thinks that I require based on my lab results and what I've told her. I don't ask too many questions, but she seems pretty knowledgeable about the things that I need help with. I actually like how quick and to the point she is, no one (at least I don't) like spending time at the doctors, so her in and out policies work for me. (not that I knew there was any in place). Again, I think she only has two days a week that she sees patients in-person because she also works at other health care facilities. It works for me if I schedule a very early appointment with her which is usually no problem.

Unfortunately, my experience with her was quite unpleasant. During our conversation, I asked her some questions that seemed to upset her and triggered her to respond in a very condescending tone. Despite my efforts to remain civil and professional, she continued to scold me. Eventually, I was so taken aback that I decided to end the conversation by saying "Have a nice day" and hanging up. To my surprise, she called me back and requested that we end our doctor-patient relationship.

Rude, unhelpful, impatient and refused to see me in person or give me appointments so had to call many times, even then she is never punctual with phone calls and would call as far as 1 hour in advance of the agreed upon time.

What kind of service would you expect from a doctor that botches circumcisions on infant boys. Find another doctor, she is terrible!

Dr. Huo is my family physician since 2013, now she is my daughter's physician, too. She is super nice and patient. She is professional and willing to do examinations which I need.

This lady is so obnoxious, she has never even examined my in all of my 8-10 visits and she has the nerve to scold me for going to a walk in clinic on her off hours. I think she only works 25 hours a week, she is all about her self. Has never looked in my mouth, ears, throat or put a stethoscope to my chest. She will not last as a family doctor so don't waste your time with her. Her staff at the front desk are very good and do their best to get you in to see her.
