The best, does sum up Dr Oda! I was in high school when our family ‘inherited’ Dr Oda. When he took over the Fred Varley practice.
My growing fam has since inherited him too. Winning the lottery would explain how I look back at close to 40years together. An extremely knowledgeable, caring, hard worker, he gets to the point, as much as he gets back personally as quick as he can.
I seem to age, but he never does. :)

Dr. Oda did everything possible to set up My hospital visits and do follow-ups plus get all my prescriptions needed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Oda for over 35 years now. He is the best you can find in my opinion. He is very professional and he listens to you. I first started going to Dr. Oda in my late teens, years after being introduced to him by my public school principal at William Berczy P.S., Mr. Trevor, I believe is his name. I was in grade 6 at the time but it was so long ago. I had a chronic asthma attack and he did not hesitate. Dr. Oda didn't either. He saved my life that day. I will never forget it or the principal who cared enough to drop everything, call his doctor who was literally down the road and rush me over there. As a child you can only imagine. That changed my life forever and to this day he remains my doctor. He is a great mentor for young doctors starting out. He really cares about life. His patients health matter. Thank Dr. Oda for taking care of my medical needs for over 35 years. Because of your quick response and attention to detail. I am alive today. Thank you!

I would probably dead now if Dr Oda hadn't found an obscure genetic disease at the time that 7 specialists couldn't determine. He was just out of medical school when I met him and now 35 years later I still go to him even though I live a long way from Markham. He is the kind of Doctor that everyone wishes they could find and a great role model for new doctors. A+++

Dr Oda and his staff are helpful, kind and dedicated. As an immigrant to this country, I consider him to be part of my extended family. I cannot say enough good things about him, his wife and his staff. We are blessed to have him as our doctor.

Dr Ron Oda is a true professional GP a wonderful "Family Doctor" and has been working with our families, since 1980's, our daughter, my wife's family and my own, Doc Oda is my Doctor he is straight forward, and he is very understanding, considerate very compassionate and a great community man working tirelessly with seniors in Unionville/Markham. Recently moved from Unionville to Markham due to new building construction / demolishing. I call him an "old school Doctor" who does house calls, returns your phone calls and provides letters or info promptly, first class and I think I was lucky to have him as my Doctor Don Bremner he is truly the best family GP Doctor a family could have.
