She "saved" my life. I am 60 years old woman and was strugglinig with depression and anxiety with no improvements even on medications. I was not able to work and my GP accused me of avoiding work. This doctor recognized that I suffer from ADHD which was never diagnozer by any doctor. I now understand why I have these debilitating symptoms and started a proper therapy for adults/seniors with ADHD with lots of hope that now I am in the right direction to manage my life.

Hard to imagine that the negative reviews are of the same person I have been working with for the past year as Dr.Kurbegovic has been an immense help to me and my mental health. With that said, I will say that I am in no way, shape or form associated with Dr.Kurbegovic; these opinions are entirely my own.

It is not an exaggeration to say that Dr.Kurbegovic has changed my life for the better. I was facing down some issues that plagued me for years. She is the first person to believe me when I said something wasn't right. I'm sure others can attest that is an incredible feeling for someone to be in your corner WITH you. I was told my condition was anything from a thyroid issue to dietary to made up (On that note: Dear god avoid Dr.Aniki Atagari, she is the absolute worst psychiatrist imaginable.)

The doctor is busy as appointments can take anywhere from a month to 3, but that's not anyone's fault. She has always been on time for our appointments and her receptionist is sweet.

Kurbegovic's bedside manner is supportive but inquisitive. She won't jump to conclusions - she genuinely listens to concerns to find out the root of the problem and works with you to find the appropriate solution. I've been working with her for a year now and it's still a work in progress but she has been very understanding. I honestly can't recommend her enough.

- I was a patient of “Doc” , while attending the 30 day outpatient program at Rocky
View.
She quickly diagnosed my early childhood trauma’s and inspired me early on in her treatment. I have suffered from major depression for over 30 years and this Doctor is the first one to dig down to the root cause.... I cannot say how grateful I am . Thank you Dr. Kurbegovic, 5 stars!

I had a great experience with Dr K at the Rocky View Day Program. I saw her numerous times and she was attentive to what I was saying, solution seeking, and willing to help me. After a year and a half with heavy depression and anxiety she got me on the right meds and it was very good to feel better. She taught me different breathing and meditative techniques. So grateful for her guidance. Gave me good skills to work in different areas of my life.
I would definitely recommend Dr K to anyone needing help!

She was my psychiatrist while I was at a day program in RGH. She listens really well to concerns and made sure to respect my space. Very thoughtful and friendly and also very knowledgeable. I felt like I was actually being listened to for the first time.
