I had an excellent experience when having a procedure performed by Dr. Goins and his staff for an eye condition. He explained everything thoroughly, the staff was very attentive and everyone was always punctual.

Dr. Goins is one of the kindest men I have ever met. He is obviously in high demand, yet spent a great deal of time explaining the surgery and answering all questions that I had. I would recommend him to anyone requiring eye surgery or care, without reservation. The resident doctor, the surgical nurses, and the staff of the eye clinic hold him in high regard, as is evident from their comments.

Dr. Goins has been treating my son for several months for a very rare and serious eye infection. We feel very fortunate that he is in charge of my son's care. He is very knowledgeable, caring, and direct. We recommend him quite highly.

Dr. Goins not only is very knowledgeable but is kind and takes the time to explain everything in a detailed manner. I also feel that he genuinely cares for his patients and their outcome. We've worked with him for over two years & have nothing but great things to say about him and his staff.

We took our son there for an eye trauma. He was the staff doctor and was superb. The trauma ended up being something very minor compared to the usual stuff he sees but he took his time and explained things / was very helpful. The fellow who worked with him was great too. I jsut wanted to say that I hope the person before me just caught Dr. Goins on a bad or busy day, because I found him to be very personable and kind.

Overall, I was very impressed with my experiences with Dr. Goins. I was very nervous about the procedure I was about to undergo but he took great lengths to make me feel comfortable and knowledgeable. He was very personable and took the time to get to know me and my family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Goins is supposedly one of the best in his field in the country. Unfortunately, he knows it. He is very smug and acts as if he doesn't have time to listen to your comments and questions... even if he asked you for them. I was referred to him and ended up seeing a couple of his associates and medical students. Overall, very disappointed.
