I was referred to Dr. Matta after two sequential unsuccessful operations, which resulted in urethra injury. I was not able to urinate at all and was living with suprapubic catheter. Dr. Matta was able quickly fit me in his schedule, examined me, and patiently explained variants of the treatment and his preferred treatment plan, as well as possible outcomes. I had urethra reconstruction surgery with him, which brought me back to my normal life. Dr. Matta is very knowledgeable and skillful surgeon, who cares about his patients very much. Communication with him through his office is very quick and effective. He is not only a great professional, but also a very nice person, and I'm very grateful to him for all his care and help.

I recently met with Dr. Rano Matta at St. Michaels Urology department were I was recently placed on active surveillance for prostate cancer under Dr Robert Stewart's care. He took a good 30 minutes of his time to answer all my questions and give me his opinions and best possible treatment options. Very professional and honest.
