Well I can only speak for myself. And I’ll tell you.

(copied & pasted)

B.S. sat on my child’s MRI results for 2 weeks without even looking at them. It wasn’t until after I brought a different child in for a visit and left his office that he personally chased me down waving papers in hand on a downtown street as I was buckling my toddler in her car seat. I even asked him specifically during the appointment if my other child’s MRI results were in. I was told they were not. But nonetheless B.S. shows up handing me the radiology report for her MRI on the sidewalk. The fax was dated for two weeks prior. I asked what it was. He said it was her MRI report. When I asked what it meant he said, “It just explains that she’s having aural migraines.” FALSE. Casey Mickler ruled out aural migraines with this MRI. My daughter has an inoperable brain tumor. She has a brain tumor. Lipoma. And that’s exactly what this paper said.

His nurse Shonda, accused my 12 year old of faking symptoms to gain attention because she has a younger sister with special needs and her symptoms (color fading in her left eye, seeing black rings around everything out of her left eye, strange headaches she can map externally) “didn’t match anything.” Apparently B.S. didn’t disagree because he never even bothered to look at the test results. This is just the tip of the iceberg, too.

When I inquired about my daughter’s Pectus excavatum (a condition in which a person's breastbone is sunken into their chest) he actually said, “It’s not an issue. Honestly, it will help her cleavage be more defined, no harm no foul.” Except in his perverse dismissal.

Back to my daughter with special needs...B.S. referred my daughter for ADOS (an Autism diagnostic test) upon my request. On a scale of 1-10 my daughter scored a 9. At the point of the ADOS my daughter had been in multiple therapies for over 4 years. Physical, visual, occupational and speech therapies. At the age of 9 B.S. diagnosed her with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Except instead of diagnosing my daughter with autism so she can receive appropriate autism related services he just added Autism to her “problem list,” and wrote “Autism” on a prescription paper with the medical diagnostic code next to it. He never created a medical note connecting the dots for her diagnosis. It’s been over a year since the ADOS results told us what is going on. Yet my child can’t receive appropriate services (such ABA therapy) because he didn’t actually do his job. Now my daughter at age 10 must wait for her insurance to approve a second ADOS and start all over again. This means getting back on a wait list for the ADOS (6months-2years) and a wait list for ABA therapy that has an equally long wait list after insurance approves a second ADOS.

I trusted this man. I literally trusted him with the lives of my children. What a horrific mistake. If this doesn’t deter you, just know that as a pediatrician B.S. cares more about curing cellulite and crow’s feet with Botox than inoperable brain tumors, MRI results and Autism Spectrum disorders. The block of fat on display when you walk in the front door coupled with posters of how they can fix your every imperfection (normality) is nothing less than disgusting and shaming. I’d never recommended B.S. to anyone. That’s all you get with him...bs...

Trusted the healthcare of my kid to Dr. Sayre till I found out why he is no longer with Pediatric Associates. Moved my kid to another practice abruptly. Now on his 5th location in same city. Urge parents to do their homework.

Dr.Sayre and his staff were very rude and unprofessional.Dr. Sayre was preoccupied most of the time and would play on his cellphone constantly. His staff would never call back until days later, even when important test results were needed. DO NOT take your child to Dr. Sayre.

My daughter had a chronic cough and severe sinus problems for over 6 months so much that she had trouble breathing, often had to miss school from being up all night coughing and being sick. We visited Dr. Sayre and he tried her on a few different allergy medications and none that seemed to help. He then would ask me what I thought it was and after that visit i never brought her back. I took her to an allergist and and ENT and she needed sinus surgery all along and has been better ever since.

when i switched hospitals and insurance,i paid out of network fees just so my child could continue seeing him.i'm a nurse and a mother of a child who was born premature at 25wks gestion. i went to dr sayre on the recommendation of my cousin who had used him for years with her children. my daughter is now 5 years old and Dr sayre has always been her pediatrician through the numerous medical problems and admits throughout the years. I recently moved and really hate have to find a new pediatrician. It's hard to find one who's opinion you trust. he takes the time to listen and is knowledgeable.

Did not have a great visit!! I was not only completely unimpressed by Dr. Sayre during my son's first visit with him but furious after I tried having his service page him that evening and received no return call. We ended up taking our son to the ER at 2 a.m. where he was finally treated for an ear infection and received antibiotics. Dr. Sayre was more interested in reading his text messages from his phone than properly diagnosing my child. I have not been back to see him since.

Dr. Sayre was MY pediatrician from the time I was 10 until I turned 21 (he was still a resident when I started seeing him). I stayed a patient until I was 21 & I was so sad to have to get an adult doctor!! He is now my sons doctor & its awesome to have such a great doctor! He is so kind, thoughtful & easy to talk to. He always makes sure that any questions you have are addressed. His staff is so sweet.. My son loves going to the doctor! When my son was an infant, I called Dr.Sayre at all hours of the night, & he never once sounded aggravated. He is so patient & understanding! I love him so much & I dont trust anyone else with my sons health!

I absoultly love Doctor Sayer.. He is the best Peditirican i have found for my now 1 year old baby.... We lived in Panama City and I had gone through 2 peds there before we had to move to Pensacola, Dr. Sayer was the first ped i had checked out here and I did the interview appt. to meet with him before i actually decided but i had a friend that had been taking her daughter there so i knew how he was before i got there... I couldnt be HAPPIER with a peditrician my son loves when he can see him cause he likes that he talks to him and hes not just another case for him to look at. I like that he takes the time to listen. We thought my son just had croup and so we treated it as that but now we are realizing that its asthma but instead of him actually just saying it is he had me try using the nebulizer first that my friend had(with giving me samples of the meds) and follow up at his check-up. Im happy that he doesnt push meds and wont do back to back meds either...
