This is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. When our son was born in the hospital, she came in to do a check-up, as it is mandatory in the Alberta Health System. I don't think she wanted to be there, but it is part of the AHS mandate that a pediatrician has to be dispatched. She came in to just show her presence, uncovered the baby, looked at it, and left it uncovered as she left the room. Her face looked like she was disgusted by the baby. This really pissed me off! This doctor should not be practicing here in Canada. I don't know how she was able to get a license here, which tells you a lot about our system in Canada. Unbelievable!

Pro: located close to my home, booking time is not too long, prescribe the right skin cream for my child eczema.
Contra:
-The front desk is sometimes hit and miss. Sometimes is a caring and understanding, but mostly rude and disrespectful.
- I never see a pediatrician that really strict. My children playing tickled with his brother and my child boot accidentally touch her skirt and she upsetly saying :"what are you doing?!" While staring at my children.
I knew my child is supposed to behave in that small tiny room (I already told them and warned them), but her reaction to my children is really broke my heart.
My children only 4 and 7 years old, I don't think it's kind and necessary to scold at them like that.
I came home feel sad. I don't feel comfortable to bring my children to a doctor that scold and staring at them because they are simply being children.

I was referred to Dr. Elsayed for my son. I was concerned about his problems at school. He couldn't pay attention, wasn't finishing his work, wasn't listening to his teacher and it was majorly affecting his grades. She brought up the possibility of him having ADHD. For a year, I filled out all of the paperwork, took him to multiple specialists, and a psychiatrist he had seen during the summer. All of that was apparently not enough for her to diagnose him and he was struggling. The last appointment with her, she was calling my son by his last name and blaming me and my parenting and basically it was my fault for the way my son was. I left that day in tears. I had done so much to help my son for nothing. Fast forward to almost 3 years later, my son was finally diagnosed with severe ADHD and anxiety and depression. If she would have helped him it wouldn't have gotten so bad. I DO NOT recommend this Doctor at all!

We have many small red flags, but nothing I couldn’t brush off. Our last visit however, left us disheartened. Spoke down to me. And offered several judgmental comments. My one child even asked if we can never go back there again.

First visit with her and my impression was good. Took the time to assess all 3 kids. While two kids were waiting the receptionist gave them something to color to keep them busy. I am pleased with the over all experience.

Reading these other comments I feel they are very un accurate. Of course people have different experiences and expectations but doctors are only human too. I’ve been seeing Dr Elsayed for many years and she is a very kind lady. She has listened to all my problems and gives me knowledgeable advice.

Had an appointment at noon and she walked into the office at 12:30, the front desk staff even called her out for coming in late. She then comes into the room to which she was already 40 mins late and advised us she was going to make an "important" phone call and she'd be back in 10-15 mins. To make a 3 month old wait over an hour past their appointment time is absolutely ridiculous to me. She also wrongly diagnosed our son with inguinal hernia which involved us going to the Stollery emergency and multiple unnecessary appointments to only be told that he does not have this. We have already found a new doctor.

This pediatrician was very black and white and patronizing in her approach. As a parent, you should feel comfortable discussing questions regarding your child. However, that was not the case here and I will be looking for a different pediatrician.

My feedback for this doctor would be to broaden her medical research and understanding of various parenting methods. and to work together with parents by listening and being respectful of their rights and choices.
