Worst behavior to say the least. She is very unprofessional, rude and only care about money. No accountability for her patients. I regret seeing her. I won't recommend her to anyone. I would report it to AHS.

Dr. Laverty is moving to Calgary. She was always late for appointments. She cancelled every one of my appointments and had to rebook. She was late for appointments and I'm not talking a few minutes I'm talking over an hour. I truly didn't feel like my medical was being taking care of properly she seemed wrapped up in her own issues. I don't like talking negatively about others but I don't want others to be disappointed in their healthcare professionals.

All I can say is that I am extremely pleased she is leaving and that no more damage cab be done. Best of luck to whoever dares to see this doctor.

When I first met Dr Laverty I really enjoyed her, she was quick to diagnose me and get me on the proper medication. But after this things took a turn. The next appointments I found Dr. Laverty to be very rude and judgemental. Every time I have went into the clinic I tend wait at least 45 minutes to see her, only to have her rush through a 5 minute appointment. EVERY appointment with her was cancelled and rebooked, so much that it has taken me 3 months to get a simple prescription refill. Requests from pharmacies are ignored and she does not like to give prescriptions over the phone. The one phone appointment I had, she called long after the allotted time and left a rude message making it seem like it was my fault the appointment was missed.
She is now moving cities so please, if you are in Calgary looking for a new GP...this is not your gal

Nasty Doctor, She seems to think shes
better then you and makes no bones about it ,usually 1-2 hrs late and never does return Real-Time calls but surely invoices Alberta Medical (will check with them)

Terrible doctor. Be prepared to wait for an hour and a half without as much as an apology. She’s mean to kids and just overall miserable. Don’t waste your time on this one!

She has a terrible attitude, and constantly feels like she's better than those around her. Her poor manners span beyond her practice. Don't waste your time if you need a good doctor
